Hotel in zona Retro-tique, Morgantown

I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites and had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, what really stood out to me was the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a variety of hot and cold items available. The food was fresh and delicious, and there was something for everyone. It was a great way to start the day and made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the SpringHill Suites for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel with a nice breakfast included.

Tutti erano molto carini. L'hotel era pulito. Il check-in era facile. La posizione era proprio fuori dall'autostrada e vicino a molte catene (Target, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Bed, Bath, e al di là), ristoranti e un negozio di prodotti alimentari. C'è stato un colazione gratuito (muffini, manzo di avena, yogurt, succo, caffè). Ho avuto solo un problema. Sono allergico alle piogge di piogge. Ci sono stati sei piogge nella nostra stanza, tutti sono piogge di piogge. Ho chiamato il desktop e ho chiesto un piogge diverso. Dicono che dovranno controllare se hanno altre piogge. Pochi minuti dopo una persona molto carina dalla custodia di casa mi ha dato un altro bastone .... che era anche un bastone di fegato. Abbiamo finito per comprare nuovi bastone per il nostro soggiorno.

Questa era una delle proprietà Hampton più pulite e ben presentate che abbiamo vissuto. Da quando entrate nel lobby, nella zona di cena addiacente, nelle strade e nella stanza, questa proprietà era davvero fuori. Le piccole piastrelle di fuoco fuori dall'hotel sono state un grande toccamento, soprattutto per la serata estiva più fredda. La stanza era molto pulita, senza notare nulla al contrario. Anche l'unità A/C nella stanza (qualcosa che in molti hotel è alto tutto il sera mentre si attiva/salta) era relativamente tranquilla. Infine, il personale e la loro utilità erano il punto finale di espressione, dando a questo hotel un notevole merito 5/5.

Everything was great as we expected. One comment which is common to several hotels we have stayed at recently. Hotels have been trying to catch up with the explosion of personal devices people travel with. Many have installed extra plus on the night stands and desks. However, some have gone as far as installing only USB-A ports on clocks and lamps. That would be excellent except technology is moving to the USB-C ports, which aren't compatible. Thanks for trying to keep up, but installing more plain electrical plug sockets would solve trying to keep up with technology changes.

Hello. I am a frequent customer with Wyndham because I am a travel nurse. I recently started a contract in Morgantown so I stayed at the super8 this week hoping for it to be the place I stay during the weeks coming up. I made my reservation online and put it the comments I needed a late checkout because I work nights and I sleep during the day. When I checked in Monday night I talked with the worker behind the desk and asked about the late checkout again to make sure it would not be an issue because I was staying there til Wednesday at 6pm and she said it wouldn’t be a problem and made a note of it. So when I did go to checkout on Wednesday I walked up to the counter and talked to a different employee that I was going to check out. She then proceeded to say that i should’ve been out of there at 1pm and that it was ridiculous for me to trying to check out at 530pm. I told her about how when I made my reservation online I made not that I would be checking out at 6pm is and I verified it when I checked in. She then said I didn’t and it wasn’t marked and no one told her. Then proceeded to tell me I should be charged another day because I missed checkout and their house keeping leaves at two. I would have been totally okay with this is she did not express her frustrations in a condescending attitude. The whole conversation she was shaking her head in disgust like I was a problem. All in all I have never experienced customer that was so poor and was so inappropriate. There is a way to approach issues and this was not it. Also it was an awkward situation in that the employee was sitting in her street clothes with cat ears in like she was going to some sort of costume party. So I had this employee arguing with me with cat ears on and trying not to laugh and be upset at the same time. Also there was no breakfast available and there was constant noise because most of the hotel was being renovated. I would have been totally okay with my stay had I not had this experience with an employee and I would never recommend to anyone to stay there and deal with that type of service. I would like to take a moment to recognize an exceptional employee who noticeably goes above and beyond as part of his regular work routine. His name is Chris and he works the front desk. My wife and I travel quite a bit and have stayed in all different kinds of places, experienced all different types of service levels. Frequent travelers know when a business or corporation has it right and when it's not. Chris is is an excellent representation of what service excellence looks like. For anyone Looking to stay overnight in the Morgantown area, we highly recommend this candlewood in Morgantown West Virginia! *****
