Moran: hotel a 2 stelle

Stayed in a two bedroom cabin for two nights in late August. Check in was fast and easy and the employee was friendly. Cabin was well located and was easy to find. The cabin was rustic but was well appointed and clean. The cabin had two moderately sized bedrooms, one with a double/queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Beds were comfortable with lots of warm blankets. Both had well stocked coffee makers. Bathroom was between the bedrooms and was clean and functional. I agree with previous reviewers that they really need to have outside porch chairs to enjoy sitting outside the cabin. I also agree the cabins are very pricey for what they are but I guess it is more for the location, which is great. It was a short walk to the general store, visitor center, and restaurants which was nice. One last complaint is the window coverings were thin and didn't block much light. They could do with black out curtains. The cabins have a very bright porch light that some visitors had on all night which shined brightly into our bedrooms.

Friendly staff and gorgeous view from the premises over the valley and Grand Tetons in the distance. Only two toilets and two showers (one sink, because the other was not working) though for all women in the camp which was not enough, and they were frequently muddy and unclean. Cooking not permitted on premises which I didn't realise prior to booking and was quite inconvient. There are some cooking spots offsite a mile down the road but there are huge numbers of mosquitoes there with no washing faciities. Our teepee was charming and we were quite cosy with the provided bedding. However, lots of kids running around during the day which we suspected went in our tent since the flap was moved and broken when we returned at the end of the day. Also several dogs on the premises despite no pet rule. Parking also became scarce in the evening without enough space for visitor vehicles.
