Check in time was 4pm, which is the latest we have come across during our travels. Check out time was strictly 10am, recommend management allow a grace period of 15 minutes before chasing down departing guests to vacate. We booked into 2 two bedroom apartments for our family group through Classic Holidays. Our rooms were 204 & 604. The apartments are very different; if you choose to stay here, ask for #604, a far superior apartment in terms of layout, fittings and kitchen and laundry amenities. Beds were reasonably comfortable, but some pillows smelt damp and musty, we notified Reception of this. There is one allocated secure car space per unit. During our stay, Reception was friendly and hospitable. Cleaning was superficial. The apartments appear overdue for a complete deep and thorough clean. There was dust collecting on the skirtings and in the corners. The bathrooms had black mould and grime in the shower. We did not use the in-room spa. Minimum toiletries provided, suggest bring your own. In the kitchen, some crockery was put away dirty. The oven tray racks had baked on grime and perhaps should just be replaced. Thankfully, the dishwasher and washing machine and dryer functioned. Location is perfect, close to an abundance of shopping, Coles supermarket, cafes and restaurants, the esplanade and beautiful Mooloolaba Beach. The outdoor pool water was clean, and well used. Bring own beach towel. Internet was free and reliable. The apartments had air-conditioning which worked. The building showed a lot of wear and tear. We would choose to stay elsewhere on our next visit to Mooloolaba.
