The Falls Montville

Upon arriving at The Falls Monteville, we were escorted down a lovely path through the woods teeming with indigenous wild birds singing to us as we walked along. When we entered our cottage, it was exactly as described in both the photos and previous reviews. Our hosts, Allan and Areana, were absolutely delightful. Allen was incredibly helpful with logistical issues and a wonderful resource of local knowledge. Areana made sure that we never went a moment without the things we needed in our room, including but not limited to breakfast items. Every morning at precisely 0815, Allan showed up with locally made fresh pastries, dropped just outside the door with a quiet tap to let us know he was there without disturbing our sleep. If you are looking for a sterile room with no soul, go elsewhere, but if you are looking for a warm place to call home whilst thousands of miles away, rich in history and charm, where you will feel immediately like family, the Falls is the place for you. Due to a miscalculation on my part, we would have likely missed our flight home were it not for Allan who got up at 0400 in the morning to make sure we made it to our shuttle, good luck getting service like that anywhere else and not only that but with excelent humor and good taste at all times. Whether you are planning a romantic holiday for two or planning a family event for ten, the falls can easily accommodate your needs in lovely Montville. Cheers, Micah and Micayla

From booking to checkout Alan was very accommodating What a beautiful location. The cleanliness is outstanding! Generous breakfast items, fireplace, chocolates, port and privacy. So relaxing. Thanks so much to our generous hosts. We will be back.

A simply perfect one-bedroom cottage located in a rainforest setting, with all facilities and extra provisions for a wonderful stay. The host was kind generous and extremely helpful, providing service above and beyond expectations. The log fire was set up ready to light, the port waiting in a decanter on the side table, and the fridge was full with local fruit, yoghurts, milk and juice - with everything needed for a hot breakfast together with croissants delivered to our door. Would definitely stay again anytime. Fabulous memories created by a caring host and excellent facility.

Spa bath was huge and perfect. Bed was super comfy Crossonts delivery vered for breakfast were best I've ever had. Bacon eggs mushrooms and tomatoes daily for breakfast along with fresh juice.. fresh bread and yoghurt all locally sourced.. Shower in bathroom was fantastic for ,2 So private.. clean and perfect.. Thank you to Allan for EVERYTHING

Thank you to Allan and Irena who made me and my partners honeymoon the absolute best. Firstly rocking up and being embraced in a welcoming hug from Allan (the fantastic owner) and then being taken to our wonderful cosy cottage. Allan made such a massive effort by congratulating us on our marriage and then going through all the wonderful facilities that came with the Honeymoon package we booked (i.e. fresh eggs and sour dough bread, Maleny yogurts, milk, champagne, port and so much more). The cabin itself was clean and spacious, with a wonderful wood fireplace, spa bath and balcony with amazing nature views. We were then treated with a beautiful BBQ hamper where Irena has made the best stuffed mushrooms plus they provided us top quality steak, chicken, and sausages. Irena also made a wonderful warm potatoes and beautiful salad for us. The next day we were spoiled with a lovely cheese platter and fun facts about montville from Allan. The last day/night of our trip, we were given a relaxing couples massage and then Allan went through tremendous efforts to find us a restaurant where we can dine at, so again he goes above and beyond. The day of our departure Allan was an angel and assisted us with taking our bags back up to our car and said farewell with another warm embracing hug. This was truly a trip to remember and a fantastic place to stay! We will be back for our anniversary. Thank you again Allan and Irena!

We stayed at The Falls Montville in the Tamarind cottage for five nights and ended absolutely refreshed. Such a beautiful cottage, surroundings, area, and hosts. The cottage was presented as the cleanest, most hospitable and most comfortable place we have ever stayed in. So well appointed, in its secluded little haven. The bed is so comfortable! So many wonderful places to see in the area, and so much great food! We will most definitely be back.
