L'Hotel Particulier Griffintown

I can honestly say our stay here with a group of 11 people was fantastic. The reality of the space surpasses the photos – they actually undersell how great it is. The unit's design, featuring multiple exits across floors and a natural flow between its different sections, worked perfectly for our large party. It provided excellent privacy while also allowing everyone to move seamlessly throughout the space and gather comfortably. A true gem was the covered back patio. Outfitted with heaters, a BBQ, fridges, and surprisingly generous space for activities, it was an amazing bonus in a dense Montreal neighbourhood and significantly enhanced our stay. Furthermore, the location is superb – you're within walking distance of numerous great restaurants and shops. Plus, having a depanneur directly across the street and a 24-hour McDonald's just around the corner proved very convenient for those late nights. Communication with the host was great; they were responsive and accommodating to our specific needs. For anyone visiting Montreal with a group larger than 8 who desires a welcoming space perfect for socializing and relaxing together, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

We ended up not getting the room we booked because of a hokey tournament, but we got a nice cozy room and the guys who run the place made it right. Can’t ask for more than that.

Nice place but don’t expect modern architecture. Low ceilings so 6FT tall beware. Walking distance to the Bell Centre and downtown activities. Would go back again.

Old - Minimalist - Cold I was staying there for 1 night. It is an old suite, with lots of space for 3 to 6 people. The rooms would need renovation. Cheap furnitures. Bathroom need towel holder and maybe a small shelf for toileteries. The room was freezing whwn I entered. Took me a while to adjust heating to 21 deg C (it was 17 deg C when I got in). Confortible matress. Lots of window,but not enough curtains, so it was fairly lit in the morning. Old sofa not confortible. Need a better table for lunching or working.

We had a wonderful stay and Michael was very accommodating and the room was perfect! We will definitely be returning! The apartment was in such a perfect spot; so close to downtown and lovely shops and restaurants! Everything you need is so close!

We stayed here with extended family, and it was absolutely perfect. Having the entire place to ourselves was ideal for hosting a big family dinner. Michael thoughtfully provided heaters, allowing us to enjoy the outdoor space even in November. The layout of the property is very flexible, with options for separate entrances and shared common spaces, or it can all connect to accommodate larger groups. Just make sure to specify the number of people and (comfortable) beds you’ll need when booking. Michael went above and beyond to assist us and promptly answered all our questions. The neighborhood is delightful, with plenty of shops within a block or two, and it’s a lovely walk to Old Port. Highly recommend!
