Campanile Troyes Sud - BUCHÈRES

Echt een hotel voor de doorreis. De formule van Campanile hotels is prima.

Una piccola stanza ma. luogo perfetto per una sosta. Buoni materassi e cuscini, per un sonno notturno perfetto.. purtroppo non c'è internet disponibile e la gentile signora alla reception non ha potuto resettare il sistema.

Tutto ha bisogno di un restyling.Il ristorante è pulito e ordinato con buon cibo. Questa sicuramente è stata rinnovata, il bollitore è solo pericoloso perché non si spegne automaticamente, peccato che non si prenda cura della verniciatura.

What a fab surprise! We booked as a stopover for our journey south. Easy accessed with plenty of parking in a residential area. It was busy and the staff were brilliant- efficient, quick and friendly. Rooms exactly as expected, clean, functional and great shower. The icing on the cake was the restaurant- a really generous buffet, full of healthy salads, meats, cheeses. So impressed for the budget that we’ll be booking for our return trip. Well done.

Comfortable enough room although a bit dated. The food in the restaurant was okay, but nothing special. Its just off the main road so easy access and easy to get away in the morning onto the road North/South. Its expensive for what it is really, but okay for an overnight stop.

We didn’t expect a lot due to previous reviews, and price, but we were so pleased with this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The gentleman on reception spoke excellent English, and the waiting staff were so polite! The room is basic, but exceptionally clean and functional. We had a disabled room that catered to our needs and requests 100%. The room was comfy and warm (it was -7° outside)! The bed SO comfy and lovely pillows. Also ample parking (including disabled parking).I've left the best till last: THE FOOD! Well what can we say, absolutely devine! You would expect the same at a 5☆ restaurant! We travel a LOT through Europe and have never experienced this standard of cuisine without paying through the nose. We will 100% stay again, if not just for the Staff service and food!

Without doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We got up early so we could leave asap. The room smelled bad of mould. Dirty brown carpet. A spring mattress which felt damp when you lay on it. The bathroom was meh. The window had an outside shutter that couldn't be opened because there was no curtains. So the room was in permanent darkness. It didn't feel very safe as there was premier classe hotel just facing us, and the resident looked like they were permanently living there. Lots of guys hanging out on balconies. We were glad we had a dog with us. The receptionist was okay for check in, she spoke English to us. But the receptionist on leaving was very rude. I guess she didn't want any interaction with un satisfied customers. We didn't get breakfast because the place stank everywhere. So in closing, if you're driving and stuck for a place to stay, just sleep in your car on the side of the road, it would be more comfortable.

Handy location not far from the motorway or visiting Troyes just up the road. Easy smooth check in and the staff were very helpful with any questions about the local area etc. Comfortable room with a double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and both the room and bathroom were clean. Nice restaurant with a good choice of food and friendly staff. Plenty of parking too.

Air broke for the last 2 days , apparently. Did t think to inform guests before they arrive or even at checking. Room warmer than outside and there is a heatwave. Shocking customer service. The air conditioning was the main reason for booking as I needed a good nights sleep to break up a long journey.
