Close to the airport people are courteous something’s were a little unorganized and we a had a bit of a problem with the room but it was quickly resolved

Property is in good condition, food is terrible. I stopped eating there after the first night. The chicken by the pool is spectacular! I ate that everyday.

Compared to other all inclusives I’ve been too in Montego Bay , Riu lacked the exclusive Jamaican feel

It’s okay experience, we went with friends to have fun in Jamaica. The staff was friendly, but I had an unpleasant experience when I called the front desk and asked to send some blankets since there’s none in the room; we waited for over an hour and called a couple of times. The front person lost patience and started to yell at us. The variety of food and drinks is good but not in high quality. If you are on a budget then it’s okay.

The property was well kept and the staff was amazing, the transportation wasn’t that great. I would recommend this property to anyone!!

Beware. We brought in so much Jamaican dollars just to be told they only accepted USD. When we did the calculation for JMD we realized it was cheaper. Booking the shuttle back to the airport was ridiculous. We had someone name Judy, who was extremely rude, with destination services literally tell me that I could not book with them because we needed to do so in 24 hours. When we attempted to book the shuttle the day before we were told that the rep was off that day. When explaining this to her she mentioned she was off and there was no one there to cover here. I was confused with this statement. The resort was beautiful. Rooms were bland. We had a huge roach in our room so be careful with that. Other than that watch for the workers at the front desk and when booking a cab. They try to upsell you on everything!

Multiple pool options from swim-up bar to activities pool (volleyball) to quieter 'hang-out' pools.
The grounds used to be Family-oriented however it is Adult only now and the grounds have been markedly improved and continue to be improved. Jamaica is beautiful island.
The entertainment staff are dynamic. Our housekeeping staff was fantastic. The wait/serving staff were tireless and very attentive. The outdoor lunch chefs are amazing.

I went in January 2024 ,The property itself was in good condition, variety of food choices and restaurants. The drinks could be made slightly better. The pools close at 6pm. The beach and pools, spa/gym were walking distance which was a plus. Definitely recommend visiting the spa for a deep tissue and pedicure. FYI A lot of cats on the property in case you’re allergic.wish the rooms came with a jacuzzi. All in all I would stay at this resort again.

The breakfast option was great and preferred over the dinner options. Drinks were ok but the spa was the highlight of the trip. The pool activities were fun and I loved that it was very engaging for people to join. The room was very nice as well I wish there was a microwave in the room but other than a full stock bar with no extra charge was a plus. Most All Inclusive places charge you for things like that I didn’t know until my last night at the resort. So next time I will be asking questions! I throughly enjoyed my birthday trip at the resort and will be visiting again!
