Hôtel Nota Bene

Caveat: It seems from reading reviews on another site the problem may lie with one female employee. It is unfortunate I chose a night she was working for a room for my wife during a multi-day road trip. I made the reservation for my wife as she was driving across France and wasn't sure when she would need to sleep. I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. The coup de gras was her being asked to pay the next morning after I had already paid. My wife thought I had paid on the website but she is not confrontational. Overall, there is another hotel chain in France that shares the name of a bird. I would highly recommend you go there for quick overnight stays. For the same price you will receive the same accomodations but with kinder service. But I must admit there was a lady the next day that we spoke to, Julie, who was very kind. Yet, I will never reserve another room there. In case the staff would like to reply and say this has to do with the restaurant being closed on Sunday, it does not. While we were surprised that it was closed we were prepared and I found my wife a place close by she could stop for a takeaway meal before she arrived at the hotel. Yet I do wonder how your guests eat on a Sunday. If it is as ridiculous as your scoff implied then all restaurants must be closed on Sunday and of course they aren't. Train your people to have some manners. Teach them, no customers, no job.

Séjourné le 28/01/2025. Depuis que je suis inscrit sur ce site (2018), j'ai dormi dans une soixantaine d’hôtels que ce soit pour le boulot ou à titre personnel. Et je dois dire que celui-ci, je le placerai sur le podium. Les chambres sont magnifiques, confortables, avec du rangement, une literie confortable, une salle de bains nickel. La clim' est facilement réglable, l'environnement est calme et dans la chambre on a même un petit frigo et un coffre fort! Il y a suffisamment de prises électriques à disposition (ce qui n'était pas le cas dans plusieurs hôtels dans lesquels j'ai séjourné récemment). Et le plus incroyable dans tout ça, c’est le prix, seulement 61€ pour une nuit (sans petit déjeuner, ce dernier étant le seul petit bémol de cet hôtel, il est cher, environ 15€). A titre d'exemple, si j'avais réservé chez Ibis Budget à Montceau pour un confort bien moindre, j'aurai payé 10€ de plus... Donc une excellente référence que je ne manquerai pas de revenir visiter si je séjourne de nouveau dans le coin

Très bon hôtel *** Propre et bien disposé, service de qualité, design "on the mood", chambres impeccables et bien équipées, bar très complet et buffet petit déjeuner varié (anglais et continental, cafés varia et presse-agrumes), personnel aimable et pro. Il y manque un soupçon de poésie, mais on n'est pas là pour cela et ce n'est pas sa vocation...
