Posizione incantevole, le camere non hanno tapparelle e con le tende striminzite alle 6,30 entra la luce in camera, i cuscini di piumino sono piccoli e quadrati scomodissimi, il wi fi molto debole meglio senza. La prima colazione buona e la cameriera gentilissima.

Esperienza positiva, ma non c’erano dubbi…la posizione è a dire poco strepitosa, il personale gentilissimo e disponibile la signora Romana ci ha organizzato il transfer. La Spa con massaggio ideale per trascorrere un weekend d’inverno. Camera con vista porto e città antica bella e confortevole. Ottima colazione con vista solarium piscina sul promontorio di Bonifacio.

Please be aware that the hotel has an ant infestation problem. In particular room three. Woke up at night to a floor covered in ants. Spoke with reception and was dismissed. Requested to speak with management and not given that info. Tried writing to Hôtel and no response. Bring ant spray if you are inclined to stay her!

Beautiful hotel in the old city. The rooms were large enough, and efficiently laid out with much storage. The sauna, hammam, and pool were truly lovely. A perfect stay in the old city, not to be missed. Dinner and breakfast were likewise excellent. We also want to call out our night watchman Andre, who graciously made us coffee and snacks for a 5:30am departure on our last day.

The hotel is at the entrance to the old city, so walking into the old town and even down to the port is easy. There's a long flight of stairs down to the lobby from the parking lot. Our room faced the water, which was great, but we had a lot of trouble with the locking/unlocking system in our room. The breakfast buffet was excellent, including freshly prepared eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located overlooking the ferry terminal, and they were kind enough to pick us up when we arrived. The facilities are well appointed and clean, and very calming. We enjoyed a very good dinner, as well as breakfast. Parking is limited, and space in Bonifacio generally seems to be at a premium. (Simply the reality of a town perched on a cliff). Not a problem, but something to keep in mind. Getting to and from the road to the reception area involves a series of steps - limiting baggage is advised. The hotel staff were quick to offer assistance with the bags, which we appreciated.

We stayed in the Citadel part, which sits up on a hill over looking the port with gorgeous views. The rooms are very comfortable and the outdoor pool and lounging areas are beautiful. We loved Bonifcaio and the location of Hotel Genovese.

This converted fort is a very cool property. It is conveniently located above water, close to old town and with beautiful views of the Mediterranean & marina below. Our room was huge, nicely decorated and had an enormous patio with lots of furniture and great views. The room was quiet at night. Everything was perfect except the air conditioning unit was totally inadequate to cool the huge room at night. Opening the windows would have not helped as Bonafacio was experiencing a heat wave. The warm room disrupted our sleep as we were sweating all night. Several of our travel companions experienced a similar problem. It’s truly a shame as our stay here was otherwise a very positive experience.

Stayed two nights in this boutique hotel, that is located on a beautiful spot overlooking the harbour. Comfortable and very clean room and kind staff at the front desk and the breakfast buffet. Definitely recommended. One downside: in the afternoon it’s not possible to order bites at the pool like calamari or other ‘at the pool-food’ because the kitchen is closed.
