The Mitchelton Hotel Nagambie - MGallery

Stayed at the hotel with my partner for a duration of two nights, opting for dinner at The Muse on both evenings and breakfast at the Provedore. I must express my u**ost satisfaction with this hotel and winery. Despite it being our inaugural visit, anticipation for a return is already palpable. The service, culinary offerings, and accommodations were truly exemplary. Additionally, the wine tasting provided an enjoyable and reasonably priced experience, complemented by an exceptional cheese board. The Aboriginal art gallery left a profound impression, its offerings truly awe-inspiring. While the pool area appeared inviting, the late-April weather deterred any swimming endeavors. Overall, it was a delightful experience, one that I enthusiastically recommend to others seeking a comprehensive retreat.

We broke a trip to Melbourne with a night in the hotel and dinner at their restaurant, Muse. The hotel was very well appointed, offered under cover parking (which was great on a wet evening as we arrived), has EV chargers in the surface carpark outside, and id managed by some very nice staff. After checks in we were offered and accepted glasses of Mitchelton's finest white wine before heading to our spacious room with wonderful views, a kingsize bed and a lovely bathroom. We dined in Muse which was surprisingly full for a Tuesday evening. The menu was excellent, the foods chose were delicious, especially the corn croquettes and my Pork Cutlet which was big and tasty. I had the Preece Rose which I was advised is a Mitchelton homage to one of their original wine makers, a Mr Preece. It certainly complemented the pork. Lovely piccolo coffees finished our evening and then it was a walk in the rain back to the hotel for a lovely night's sleep.

Stayed here for 3 nights with the family. Peaceful, relaxing, tranquil, and more. Excellent hotel rooms, comfortable beds, powerful showers, lovely balcony overlooking the Goulburn river. Great 3 km walking track along the river, although you can walk for 10s of KMs around the vineyards. Plenty of wildlife with roos, galahs, cockatoos, and lizards. Have great brekkys at the onsite Provodore restaurant, and room service comprising and excellent club sandwich and burgers. Service was great, house keeping superb, and always with smiles and a good morning. Not cheap, but worth the splurge.

Excellent venue with choice of rooms but if you can get the Cabins on the Crescent. Bit more expensive but view great and location fantastic. Close walking distance to restaurant, breakfast, pool and wine tasting. Can stay in normal hotel rooms but the cabins are special. Very quiet. Only issue was the corella who was practising to be an elephant on the roof but that’s part of the a**osphere. Restaurant food is very good. Plenty to see such as the tower. Wine tasting complimentary for five wines. All in all a great venue.

This was our second visit and we returned as we had such a lovely time last year. It’s a well appointed hotel, lovely rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Lovely being welcomed with a gorgeous glass of wine. They really look after you. We will absolutely be coming back!

We stayed two nights at this Hotel and enjoyed it immensely. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. They were very quiet and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire shortly after our arrival in the evening. The hotel is well served with a cafe for breakfast and lunch and a restaurant for dinner. We would happily return.

First time to Mitchelton Hotel/ Winery. Amazing property, with a beautiful cellar door for tastings by the fire. Upon arrival to the hotel, parking was easily located under the hotel and lift access to the reception. We were greeted by Anthony who provided an informative/seamless check in and enjoyed our welcome drink by the fire. The Aboriginal art gallery is beautiful and a great collection to enjoy before checking in. The rooms are furnished beautifully, with great quality amenities. Thank you Tasman for your prompt service. We dined at Muse on both nights of our stay and was delighted with the ambience,oysters,food, cocktails and service. Special mention to the bartender. Amazing Whiskey sour! 🔥 A special thank you to Emily for looking after us on both nights. Breakfast at Proverdore is amazing and well worth booking a package with breaky included. Coffee were amazing and the brekky dishes were delish. Looking forward to our next stay and next game of chess by the fire. Easily in the top three regional resorts in Victoria.

Almost 40 years has passed since last visiting the Mitchelton winery and surrounds - then in its early days and long before the more recently opened (2017) Mitchelton Hotel (M Gallery by Sofitel) on the banks of the Goulburn River among the vineyards. And in the depths of a Victorian winter, the hotel and all of the property's attributes e.g. Muse Restaurant, the more casual Provedore, the Cellar Door etc provided a luxurious, warm and cosy location for a weekend escape. Think warm hotel Suites, open fires in the foyer, restaurant and cellar door; expansive well tended grounds with walking trails, river scenery, kangaroos of course as well as ducks and multiple bird species making their homes along the river and among the vines. All in all the offerings well exceeded expectations. The hotel is casual luxury, staff are attentive and friendly, suite servicing efficient .... and all that leads to planning another visit sometime late Spring. Only one negative - when full, the hotel under cover car park is inadequate to cater for guest parking. And while there is nearby parking towards the winery buildings and approx 80-100 metres from the hotel by the river edge, it's not quite good enough during wet days and bad weather. But that's the only gripe - because otherwise we loved it all.
