We were booked to stay here at this hotel for 2 nights. When we arrived, my wife did not have a good feeling and insisted on doing a room inspection before check-in. Try as it was, the room was in a totally disgusting state. There was an ashtray full to the brim with cigarette butts on the balcony. To make matters worse, the room smells of stale cigarette smoke, there were discarded cigarette butts all over the room floor. Additionally, there were stains from spilt coffee all over the bedroom floor as well. As for the toilet, the situation was totally disgusting. Seriously, the room needs a totally renovation, and it cannot be made fit for human use with just a few minutes. I must also add that the room faces some facility from which there was blaring loud music, not our idea of a idyllic vacation.

We loved our stay at this hotel, which welcomed us very well. The hotel is very well located, close to restaurants and beaches. We rented motorbikes from a shop on the same street and toured the entire south of the island. The pool is very pleasant, the breakfast is also as it has everything you need to start the day off right. Fruit, bread, pancakes, a chef cooking all types of eggs, natural juices, coffee, cakes, etc. The best thing about the hotel is all the staff. They are very friendly young people, who work very well, who help us with everything, very sweet and very helpful. Whatever you need, they always run to help you with a smile on their faces. I ask everyone to read my review and book this hotel to be kind to these young people. I especially want to thank Chef San Jee who treated us very well. For 4 nights we arrived late at the hotel, and he managed to cook our dinner for 10 people. We loved Chef San Jee's food. The Kothu Rotti cooked by him is divine. Another interesting detail is that there are peacocks and we get used to their presence.

The proximity to the sea and the stunning views make this hotel one of the best sea-view destinations we’ve ever visited. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bedding is comfortable, and the linens and towels are exceptionally clean. The bathrooms are large, hygienic, and well-maintained, which added a lot of comfort to our stay. The hotel features a large swimming pool, which is very clean and well-maintained, along with a kids’ pool, making it an ideal destination for families. The bar facilities are excellent, offering a variety of high-quality foreign liquors, local spirits, and well-crafted cocktails. The restaurant at Paradise Beach Club serves a daily buffet for breakfast and dinner, with a wide range of options including Sri Lankan and Western dishes. The taste and quality of the food were impressive, and we particularly enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan flavors. The staff service was generally friendly and attentive, which made our stay comfortable. However, we feel that the staff could be more cheerful and welcoming, as their serious demeanor at times took away from the otherwise warm atmosphere. One small downside was the exchange rate policy, as the property charges an additional 5 LKR per USD above the actual rate. For a property of this caliber, this practice seemed unnecessary and could be improved. Overall, Paradise Beach Club is a top-tier choice for anyone visiting Mirissa. From its stunning views and great amenities to the delicious food and family-friendly atmosphere, this hotel offers a truly luxurious experience. We highly recommend it for a memorable stay on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.
