Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa - with 43 Metre Saltwater Infinity Pool

We were back in Mirissa and Weligama, our all-time favourite hotspots, and kicked off our holiday with a visit to the stunning Sri Sharavi Beach Villas for lunch , just a short 10-minute drive from Mirissa. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kenny, the villa manager, whose hospitality set the tone for the rest of our experience. The layout of the property is absolutely beautiful, with four stylish buildings, each housing three elegant rooms and suites, plus two additional rooms alongside a serene spa. One of the standout features is the 43m infinity saltwater pool, which I believe is the largest in the area, an absolute showstopper! We couldn’t resist spending some time by the pool, soaking in the views and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The food was equally memorable, with every dish served to perfection. The service from the team was nothing short of outstanding, friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile. I highly recommend Sri Sharavi Beach Villas to anyone looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and exceptional service in Mirissa. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal or planning a stay, it’s a place that will leave a lasting impression.

We booked this resort after seeing it on several websites and thought it would be a perfect location. The ocean front location and beach looked fantastic. Through our travel agent we booked an Ocean deluxe suite that was not cheap ( probably £350/ 400 per night) we thought opening the doors in the morning and walking out onto the ocean facing balcony would be fantastic. When we checked in we were shown to our suite, it was a fantastic room with vaulted ceiling and a full length wall of glass looking out to a rooftop garden and a small set of doors with a view of the ocean between 2 buildings. When we checked with Kenny the manager to make sure we had the correct room it was , a deluxe suite has a partial sea view. ( my fault I should have double checked before booking) Still shell shocked from that and after unpacking we decided to go down to the beach and have a drink and relax. We got to the bar ordered a drink and then walked to the beach and almost fell off the 12 foot high retaining wall and onto the rocks where the beach used to be. THE BEACH HAS GONE, washed away, thousands of tonnes of sand has gone. When I asked Kenny about the beach he shrugged his shoulders and said it used to be there but had been washed away but hopefully it will be washed back again, I said he needs an engineering project like the Jumeirah Palm to get the beach back. We stayed here for 7 days, all the staff are great and very helpful. The 45 metre infinity pool was beautiful. The suite we had was lovely. I could not fault the hotel nor its staff except that it is vastly overpriced ( + they add 10% service 18% VAT& 2.5% ) 30.5% to every thing, but to sell yourself as a beach resort you really do need to have a beach

This is my most worse experience in my tourism sector. I have booked Sri Sharavi for 4 from 4th January to 8th January for one of my client from Germany (Mr. Dominik Luke and his fiancee) but unfortunately he has to be cancelled his holiday due to his personal issue. And I have paid LKR 300,000.00 as in advance payment for the relevant booking. But when my client ask to refund his payment Sharavi reservation department completely refused the payment refund. So I have several times requested to refund my client’s payment once reduced some certain amount but they never responded. I and my client Mr. Dominik will never recommend this Sharavi Beach Villas and please think many times if someone going to stay this terrible place. MATHEESHA TOURS AND TRAVELS

Sri Sharavi has a few Villas by the beach front with an amazing long pool. We stayed at the ocean facing room and it is amazing, the room is cleaned and made up regularly. We loved having drinks at the Hut and the bar staff has been very attentive and their service was top notch. Kenny and team at the front desk are super helpful as well, and helped sort out our stay and gave us great tips during our stay. The villa is located afew min from Mirissa Beach and Welligama, quite convenient with the tuk tuks. We spent the most in this stay during our two weeks in Sri Lanka, and we'd absolutely loved it, as it is reflected in the service level, cleanliness and the staffing resources they have.
