Stay the hell away from this death trap. "They clean every two days"? Clean what!?? The multiple stains from mystery liquid, the chunks of dead skin, and the black hand prints in the bathroom would SCREAM that this place was last cleaned during the Ford administration. There was no fire detector in the room, the tv was present but not plugged into anything that would give a signal. There is a foot shaped hole in the bathroom door (room 204) and the door leading to the room gets stuck. Can you say fire hazard? We called the Fire Marshall and didn't even get the full address out before he told us that he already knew about the Guest Lodge. The Guest Lodge refuses to cooperate with the Office of the Fire Marshall! You would do better with a cardboard box under an overpass for the night rather than staying here. You'd be safer.

This is not a hotel. It is a home for homeless people. Please do not come here thinking it's an economical hotel. We were worried when we first arrived, but once we got into our room we knew. We left immediately. Do NOT stay here!!

Oh my god, do your self a favour and don't stay here. When we checked in we were told by the man at the front desk that my credit card would be charged again when I checked out despite having paid already. We then went to our room. Toilet wasn't bolted down to the floor and no light in the bathroom. Shower didn't work and water alternated between scalding hot and ice cold. Bedsheets weren't clean so we slept in quilts and pillows from home. ********** outside our room. Public washroom smelled like a dead person in there (no exaggeration). No one on duty at front desk Friday. Someone checked us out so when we got back to the hotel we couldn't get in our room. Had to call a Texas number (paper left on front desk) to get someone to let us in. Cellie, who we spoke to on the phone was not someone who should be in the service business; she was abrupt and rude. Someone finally showed up to let us in. He tried to put us in a different room - the first smelled like vomit and urine. The second had a broken bed and multiple holes in the carpet. He said we were better off to stay in our room close to the desk where he can keep an eye on us (this left me terrified). Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else

Worst hotel I have ever been in. No towels, filthy, vomit on window screen. Smoke alarm torn off wall, wrapped in old plastic bag hanging from a wire. Bedspreads badly torn and very very dirty. Zero amenities available in rooms. Even had to bring own toilet paper. Front desk microwaved a pizza in middle of check in. No I am not kidding. We were booked for 2 nights, decided to move on after one night for fear of possibly being murdered in the night. Signs all over lobby stating no refunds no matter what, as well as signs stating there are extra charges if you leave any trash outside in the hallway. Speaking of hallway, there were next to no functioning lights in the hall. Not sure how this business is allowed to operate.
