Northwoods Inn & Suites Minocqua

Worthy of 0 stars. Arrived ready to crawl into bed. Upon walking into the room, I noted dirt along the side of the walls. I noticed the bed spread was tattered and torn, then I noticed what looked like a booger 2” long on the bed spread. I couldn’t even put my bags down and started crying because I was so tired but couldn’t sleep in such conditions. It was the worst hotel accommodations I’ve seen in the USA. After asking for a refund, we were told to contact Priceline. After contacting Priceline they told us the hotel should have refunded us, not them. We walked into the room, didn’t even set bags down and they expect to keep $130+ taxes.

Bathroom outlets inoperable. Wall fan doesn’t work. We could hear people talking in the next room. Okay place if there’s no where else to stay. Not all rooms are as nice as those on the website. Place is pretty old and needs updating.

We were looking for a place to stay for a snowmobile trip. This location is perfect. Right next to a gas station. Sleds can be parked outside your door. There’s access to the lake and trails behind the hotel. The room was definitely a basic motel room, but all the linens were super clean. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator.
