This boutique hotel is a total gem, from its Reception to the rooms. The Suite where we stayed has an exuberant decoration and very well conceived aesthetically. The shower worked perfectly with jets of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and every day we woke up with the sun entering the room and the balcony with a pleasant view of the city that was bustling with life at dawn. The top of it all is the breakfast which is varied every day and with incredible flavors. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant which has an amazing terrace. The caipirinhas and mojitos are divine. The dishes are well prepared and plus in front of us. The cleaning, the amenities and everything is prepared in detail for our comfort. The staff are very kind and speak English very well. Undoubtedly the best place to stay in Mindelo, we strongly recommend it. We will be back!

Casa Branca has the perfect position if you’re arriving on São Vicente and want to continue to Santo Antão. 15 min car ride from the airport and 5 min walk to the ferry terminal make it easy to arrange your trip. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are bright and modern. Breakfast is served in their nice restaurant or on their sunny terrace with harbour view. Even though the location is central we had a nice and comfortable rest.

Positiv: Gute Lage: In der Nähe vom Strand und Zentrum. Sauber und exht freundliches Personal. Dekoration und allgemeines auch empfehlenswert. Viel Licht im Zimmer. Negativ: Internet mässig, extrem langsame Küche und ohne funktionierendes Rauchabzug: nach dem Essen musste man die Kleider wechseln. Zimmer in der vierten Etage ohne Aufzug und zum Teil kleine Treppen. Aus dem Balkon sieht man ein Gebäude das nur zum Teil gebaut ist was die Aussicht deutlich verschlechtert.
