Owners lovely but greeted with a long list of rules and regulations. We stayed in tree fern room and the bed was so uncomfortable . The room and place was spotless. The breakfast was the best cooked to perfection. Its a very quiet place so was a relaxing 2 day break.

This is a lovely property and the hosts Libby & Paul were very welcoming. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were some of the best we've had. This is a great choice if you are looking for a quiet & peaceful weekend getaway.

Our first B&B stay. Paul and Libby were fantastic Hosts. Nothing was an issue, breakfast was amazing. Bed was out of this world. We had the best nights sleep. Property is quiet, very tidy and the pool inviting. Certainly can recommend this property for your next break.

We had a lovely weekend at the Ridge retreat. We received a warm welcome from Libby & the room was cosy & warm when we arrived. Libby explained everything in great detail, from the breakfast menu to local eateries in the area. Breakfast was cooked by Paul and served on the veranda over looking the magnificent property. It was a wonderful way to start the day. We were made to feel very comfortable and had total privacy during our stay. Thanks gain :)

The accommodation wonderful, atmosphere beautiful, the hosts lovely & the breakfast one of the best we have ever had ( the omlette was amazing ). The bed was the best we have ever slept in. Didn't have time to use the pool but it did look very lovely. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this holiday destination. Nigel & Vicki xx

I was supposed to go on 17th March for 2 days. My sons gave me this as a gift voucher for a special birthday. I have contracted Covid so unable to go. I asked if my,booking could be transferred to another time...answer was no!! They purport to implement Covid Safe practices so I am sure they wouldn't be happy if my partner and who are both positive were to attend. It's pretty bad business practice and the owner didn't even give me the courtesy of a return phone call...I was advised via email! D Griffiths

More like a resort with its exquisite pool and tranquil views over gardens to a meadow and bushland. Thoughtfully and carefully planned, and professionally and personably implemented, to provide for superb comfort and relaxation of holidaying guests.

When I checked the reviews for Ridge Retreat on Tripadvisor I don't think that I had seen reviews so skewed to the positive. Now having been there I can understand why. There really aren't enough superlatives to do Ridge Retreat justice. The room was great, the view beautiful and Paul and Libby were amazing hosts with nothing being too much trouble. If you are contemplating a trip to this area you should definitely do yourself a favour and stay here for a while!!

Paul and Libby are excellent hosts and the premises are in excellent condition the rooms very clean and plenty of room, the bathrooms are roomy and well stocked. The breakfasts are well presented and very tasty, the beds are the most comfortable I have slepted in other than my own and I stay in plenty of motels in my working life. My partner and myself will definitely be back Thanks Paul and Libby for a enjoyable time Brian and Juliet
