Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Milo

The Santa Maria Village Resort & Spa is in an ideal location for a stay in Milos. It is a short walk to Ademas, which has restaurants and shops. The restaurants cater for all budgets from gyros to fine dining. It is also a short (15 minutes) walk from the resort to a sandy beach with sunbeds and lots of shade from trees. This beach has the added advantage of being in front of a great family run restaurant. In terms of getting the the Santa Maria Village it close to both the airport and the port. A taxi to/from the airport is 20 Euros, which, given the distance is quite pricey. The hotel can also arrange a transfer. Alternatively there is a bus that goes from the airport to a bus stop a short walk (uphill) from the resort and also one the goes from the port. The Resort is in a lovely set of grounds with olive, orange and pomegranate trees. It is low rise with no building more than two storeys high. There is a swimming pool with a bar. The bar offers a 10% discount if you pay in cash. There are sunbeds around the pool. The good news was that there was no bed-bagging going on until the last few days of our holiday when four Australians started doing it from early on. The bar serves lunch options and the food was good and not unreasonably priced. There was an extensive list of cocktails that they could make along with some specialty beers. The rooms we stayed in were spacious with enough space to hang and put away your clothes. There were sufficient sockets for charging devices. There is a well stocked fridge and two bottles of still drinking water are supplied free of charge every day. There is a safe large enough to store a laptop in each room. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning is quiet. There are blinds to blackout the room at night. There is a modern shower and a separate toilet. The hotel provides beach towels in the bedroom and pool towels from the bar. Breakfast is a buffet which is available near the reception and can be eaten in a shady garden area. There is a good range of food available including fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses and pastries. The hot food offered changes on a daily basis. There is no short-order cook. Coffee is available from a self-service machine and while it is adequate, it would have been nice if there had been barista quality coffeee on offer. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and provide good insights on where to go on the island and what to expect to pay. When we stayed in the hotel the majority of the customers were from Australia, Italy and France. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Milos and we are already planning out return.

My partner and I were on an island hopping holiday in Greece and decided to base ourselves in Adamas in Milos for 4 nights We were very lucky to find the Melagrana We arrived by ferry and it was a 5 minute walk from the Port to this lovely peaceful guest house .The rooms are modern,spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean with light airy bathrooms and good air conditioning and wifi. We had a lovely spacious secluded terrace The staff are really helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to visit Although breakfast is available we found an excellent bakers just across the road There are several car hire companies nearby too There are beach towels in the room and parasols are available at reception which are great for visits to the beaches We really enjoyed our stay here

La mia ragazza e io abbiamo lavorato in hotel lungo la strada e Perla è una proprietà di lusso. Super pulito, grande a/c, fantastico colazione, e la lista continua. Dimitris si è occupato di trasmettere informazioni agli ospiti, anche a noi, su tutto ciò che si deve fare a Milos e dove mangiare. Milos è stato il nostro posto preferito durante il viaggio. L'hotel è ben situato sull'isola per andare a cena/villaggio o per andare a spiagge vicine. Chiunque possieda questo hotel dovrebbe avere abbastanza fortuna di avere un dipendente dedicato come Dimitris. Grazie e speriamo di tornare un giorno!

Although this hotel is on the south side with very little around it…it was an absolutely beautiful hotel. My husband & I stayed in one of the honeymoon suites for 2 nights (even though we are in our mid50’s & married for 25 years 😊). The pictures tell it all…absolutely gorgeous! The staff reception (Maria) was an absolute pleasure! We were welcomed with a nice refreshing beverage & taken to our room & explained everything. Prior to arrival I communicated with Maria to organize a private boat cruise to Kleftiko & she took care of it all & we had the most amazing afternoon! The view is nothing spectacular but it was so nice to come back to a nice hot tub after days of so much walking & exploring. My only negative comment & I really wouldn’t call it negative but the patio / balconies are close together & although there is a separation you can still hear your neighbours if outside at the same time. We were there during low season so it wasn’t an issue for us. Back to the positives …The bed was so comfortable! And the breakfast was incredible!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Well worth the price!
