Il nostro hotel è stato molto piacevole, dove abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in una stanza gemella. Le letti erano grandi e la stanza era molto tranquilla e c'è una porta addiacente Lawsons che era molto adatta per colazione. Wifi era gratuito e veloce. L'unico negativo è che l'hotel è a circa due chilometri dalla stazione e, sebbene ci sia una navetta gratuita limitata, era un po' lontano dalla città. La navetta a richiesta negarebbe questo ostacolo. Il pranzo al ristorante dell'hotel era eccellente.

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. Veramente eccellenti strutture. I miei amici e io eravamo così impressionati. E 'un ostello ma si ottiene spazi privati, basicamente cubi gigante con ciechi e cortine per darvi una certa privacy. I servizi erano fondamentali, ma eccezionalmente puliti e confortevoli. Anche il personale era molto amichevole e utile, nonostante sembrava molto occupato. La posizione geografica è buona, ma la notte è arrivata e non è stato possibile uscire, perché c'è un tratto molto nero di tornare dall'hotel di Liu Mountain dalla strada del negozio. È pericoloso trovare l'hotel con un portale mobile. La fine della mattina è molto bella. Il mais giapponese non è a disagio. È anche molto buono andare al caffè di mattina e sera. Anche se i fiori del personale non sono buoni, il gusto è buono. L'unica cattiva esperienza nel soggiorno è che il bagno dell'hotel è molto vecchio. This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

I spent a night here with my gf and it was a marvelous experience. They offer a luxurious dinner and breakfast experience that uses locally caught seafood and ingredients that will made your stay very pleasant. Located in a quiet area away from the city's hustle and bustle but still within walking distance from the local station and seaport. The staff were very hospitable and very thoughtful. The room offered a traditional Japanese bathroom with a tub made from cypress that gives a pleasant aroma when bathing. It has a nice outdoor view that you can enjoy from comfort of your own bathtub. The rooms a nicely appointed and have a 5-star experience that you can only experience at this ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever visit Onomichi!

Conveniently located about halfway between Onomichi and Imabari along the Shimanami Kaido, WAKKA is much more than a halfway stop. Staying here is an experience you won’t forget for a while. Between us we had a cottage and a dome ‘tent’ both with views of the water & the Tatara bridge (across which we had cycled). We opted for the BBQ dinner on our deck & it was wonderful: sashimi appetiser, local seafood, vegetables & meat (amazing steak, boar sausages, chicken) as well as rice, dessert and mint tea! The hospitality here is so warm that we felt immediately welcomed. All the staff were lovely. Reika (from reception) suggested a trip to the local onsen (public bath) and provided a voucher as well as minibus shuttle (10 min way). This was a great experience and good way to relax after a day’s cycling. We enjoyed breakfast sitting on the cafe deck (great coffee) before we set off for another day of cycling. As well as cottages & dome tents, there are dormitory beds for a more economical stay. WAKKA also offers support to cyclists who aren’t staying at the hotel.

尾道駅から200m、しまなみレンタサイクルやフェリー乗り場のすぐそばにある利便性抜群の立地にある。 ●お部屋 コンパクトながら、狭さを感じない、機能的な構造。初めライトの暗さは少し気になるが、慣れれば問題なしです。 ●アメニティ 水が2本無料。井戸水だそうで、味がうまい。シャンプーやボディソープもくせになる匂い。初めて知るブランドで、日本ではなかなか無い匂い。最高のバスタイムになりました。 ●朝食 新鮮な野菜に、バラエティーに富んだドレッシング。小麦の食感がしっかりしたパンやクロワッサン。そして柑橘系の美味しいジャム。ジュースも美味い。そしてソーセージとベーコンとポテトのエッグソテーは、絶妙のバランスで、お腹満腹。全ての材料と味にこだわりを感じ、最高の食事でした。 ●ランドリー 3台あり、乾燥いれて120分600円。ランドリー室には無料のコーヒーとクッキーあり。クッキーはベルギー産のシナモンがかかったもので、癖になる美味しさ。 かなりクオリティーの高いホテル。予約時は少し値段設定が高い気がしたが、泊まったみると、かなり満足できる。おすすめします。
