L Hotel

Excellent spacious and bright rooms, very helpful staff at reception, very kind staff on breakfast which was delicious! And very kind staff on housekeeping. Very nicely decorated, centrally located, we totally recommend it!

We spend a few nights here at the L Hotel. The lobby as well as the entire building has a special fresh scent and is impeccably clean. There is active cleaning staff there. The breakfast buffet was a simple coffee and a variety of bagels, croissants and muffins served by a very accommodating and polite woman in the morning behind the bar. The room itself was clean and had an updated bathroom. The room also smelled fresh and clean. The beach is two blocks from the hotel. There is a public entrance to the beach. There was plenty of room along the beach. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels on a first come, first serve basis. There is also a CVS down the street on Collins Ave and a Cuban deli further down that sells all kinds of candies, chips, sandwiches, and beer. We were glad to stay at the L Hotel because the hotel we were going to stay with had horrible reviews so we switched a week before arriving. All busses and trolleys run along Collins. Nice going. I'd recommend the smaller, intimate hotels if visiting Miami Beach.

My family and I stayed here for three nights. Overall, it was a very good stay and we would consider the L Hotel again. Alice at the front desk and the grab-and-go breakfast staff were aces. The design was beautiful. The location was great. The third floor canal view rooms are worth it. We appreciated being able to borrow beach towels/chairs/umbrellas. The small size is nice. Having a fridge in the room was so handy too. The lock on room 304 stopped working after the first night. We were locked out around 10 pm and ended up being upgraded to room 303, a suite with a mini bar/easy chair and ottoman/larger floor plan. (When we checked out two nights later, it still had not been repaired.). That room had been run hard, was not very clean, and had lots of black mold growing in the shower. It was difficult to breathe and triggered health issues that had been under control. A cleaning gal was requested and attempted to scrub it off. (She tried really hard with inadequate supplies.). No one cared. No luck, beware of this room 303! Also note that there is no maid service until your fifth day. The dark purple carpets get sandy even if one removes shoes consistently. They will exchange towels, etc. I think that they do ensure a room that is scheduled to be occupied is ready to go.

Excelente localização. 1 quadra da praia, oferecem toalha e voucher para cadeiras e guarda-sol. Pessoal da recepção simpático e muito solícito. O quarto tem um ótimo tamanho, boas roupas de cama e travesseiros. Quarto e banheiro bem limpos. Com a praticidade do trolley (for free) fica muito fácil se locomover por toda a ilha. Acho que o café da manhã poderia ter um pouco mais de variedade e a adega do quarto é um pouco barulhenta. Mas nada que atrapalhe um bom sono.

Vriendelijke staff, kamers niet heel groot maar goed genoeg, douche verouderd en ruikt muf. Vlakbij het strand met complimentary handdoeken, strandstoelen en parasols. Het ontbijt krijg je mee vanaf een counter. De keuze is beperkt maar het is verder goed verzorgd.
