This was one of the worst hotels, I ever stayed at. If I could give it 0 stars I would. This place was not clean at all. The toilet paper roll had not been replaced prior to our arrival, the bathroom had dust in the door hinge and the bathtub was clogged. The complimentary soap smelt bad and the bedroom had not been vacuumed or swept. The pillow had a stain and the mattress was hard as a rock. Additionally, the room ceiling had water damage. When we arrived the hotel had no lobby so when we called the man in charge Michael text us the address of the office. We were a bit skeptical so we just went to the hotel first not the texted address. We then had to sign a contract and was given all the information on a piece of paper. The hotel hall way also was a bit loud from hotel staff and it had a unpleasant smell. Additionally the hallway light never dimmed so the light shined through the whole night and the window had thin curtains so all the light was coming in during the day. This place you can skip we only stayed one night then left because it was so unpleasant. Lastly, when we went to watch tv no tv remote was to be found. We could not a refund just a different room. I will not be return here.

the place is nice with well cleaned rooms and eating facilities. the location is great. we had a big problem with our room, no electricity, luckily with the help of a great person "Mike" we solved the problem immediately. Thank you Mike for taking care of my family

Pros: clean, location Con: The air conditioning was malfunctioning. Each night I was extremely hot because it stopped working. I contacted the front desk and was told maintenance would fix it. Maintenance came when we were on the beach. When we went back to the room, the A/C was working. We went to bed that night and it stopped working. Contacted the front desk again the next day and maintenance said someone in my room changed the thermostat. This was impossible because I need cool air for hot flashes and I was only with a teenager . I figured out on the third day that the A/C stops getting cold after a few hours. If you want to chance it and stay in one of their hotbox rooms, turn the A/C off for 20 minutes then turn it back on. The A/C will kick back in. I was charged $50 and given no explanation why. I was given the heads up when I checked in that housekeeping will find any little reason to charge $50 each time they clean the room so I made sure to put do not disturb on the door. The one day I took it down so maintenance could enter the housekeeping came in and that was when we were charged a fee. Each day we cleaned up, made the bed and kept a tidy space. If you stay here and want housekeeping, they will charge you $50 each day. Our view was of the side of the next door building, alley and staircase that anyone using it could see into our room so we has to keep the curtains closed. I was disappointed because I could have stayed at a nicer facility for the same money, The worst hotel experience I ever had in my 48 years of traveling.

12th and Ocean Apartments by Lux Urban South Beach Miami, FL Room 212 Premium Studio Suite Location Positive: Walk across the street to the beach. Walking distance to bike rentals, restaurants, park. Price was great for this location. Negative: You are directly above a restaurant, The Pink Taco (great food) that turns into a club at night, with a DJ on weekends Boom, boom, boom until around 12:00-1:00 am every night. You also hear all the noise from the ***** below. I am guessing that the rooms without a balcony and a view are quieter, as they are in the back. Hostess/Manager Positive only: Erica was easy and fast to communicate with. We had a few complaints when we checked in which she quickly remedied. She also came by herself to check on things. Timely directions for check in were provided. Entrance: Positive: keypad entry to building. Negative: No lobby. Just a musty, hot hallway with elevator to your room. Room: Positive: Spacious room, comfortable bed. View is gorgeous. Balcony is nice but the two rooms next to you share it with you and the guests can walk right up to your balcony doors. Kitchen is a plus. Nice, spacious closet. Negative: Upon arrival, the shower curtain was full of mold and the bathroom had hair on the floor. Erica quickly took care of this. The room needs a painting. Wall nearest bed is stained. The laminates on the kitchen floor are cracking. Vents are dusty and filters need replacing. Fixtures are old, cheap and rusted. We actually found the light switch on the floor and had to reassemble the switch on the lamp. One of the plastic chairs in the kitchen was cracked and I got my skin pinched when I sat down. The curtains are translucent so in addition to the noise there is also the issue of a very bright room into the evening hours. One night, there were several little flies and a spider in the bathroom. I killed all the flies and the spider disappeared into the molding. We found someone's bikini bottom behind the dresser in the closet area. Hallway rugs are stained and dirty. Amenities: Negative only: The room had only two tiny tubes of shampoo, condition and body wash per person for 5 nights. Erica took care of this. They left us only 2 rolls of toilet paper. We bought our own. No hand soap. We bought our own.There are no hooks or shelves in the bathroom to hang towels. Towels were old and had bleach stains on them. You decide.

It was pouring rain in Miami when we arrived ... Michael Rodriguez was kind enough to meet us OUTSIDE with an umbrella 🌂. That was very nice of him, he hooked us up and made everything soo much better

Michael Rodriquez was so helpful he came out in the rain to meet us when we were lost I would give 10 stars if I could. He was so helpful getting us through the rain and checking in was effortless love it
