Hilton Grand Vacations at McAlpin-Ocean Plaza

I had an incredible time staying at this hotel. The staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Cassie. was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay, She is a true asset to the hotel! I definitely suggest this place to anyone searching for a nice stay with excellent service. I will definitely be returning!

This place appears to have seriously gone downhill within the past 2 years. Our stays in May 2021 and May 2023 were so much better than our stay in May 2025. The biggest deterioration has been in service level. They could never get our requests right. We would order 5 items and 2 would show up, and always delivered with zero greeting, zero smile, zero warmth, in fact the person delivering looked rather scary. Also, the buildings and rooms do not seem to have been updated in years. Our room 2404 was starting to show significant wear. There was a rather alarming hole in the floor below the carpeting near the kitchen, and our dishwasher leaked every day due to a loose gasket that I had to keep fixing manually every time I wanted to run it. Multiple lightbulbs were fused and needing replacement, which we didn't bother to ask for because we figured it wouldn't happen. We have been HGVC owners since 2006 and have been here probably a dozen times since then, and the only time things were worse was back in May 2011 when the internet didn't work and both hot tubs were turned off and drained during our entire stay. We only came here because we couldn't find a unit at the HGVC Waikiki even though we tried booking as soon as the 9-month window opened. I don't think we will be back here again.

Location don’t need transportation every is close by, want bicycling, walking, jagging , beach at cross street , lots of good restaurants

We loved living in Miami Beach for the week. History, tours,, restaurants , Miami Open, Baseball, Miami FC, Messi, Days on the Beach, Nightlife, festivals, Art, Museums and Fashion. McAlpin Ocean Plaza Hilton Grand Vacation Club staff was amazing in every way. The perfect spot to relax in between. I do recommend Uber/Bikes and good walks to get around the area. Parking can be cumbersome. Get groceries delivered via instacart (Publix) or Whole Foods service. THANK YOU!

My husband and I stayed at McAlpine. March 31- April 6th. It was very clean. Office Staff (which is next door at the Ocean) is extremely friendly. If you need any extra items they have them. Tall Paul is awesome and eager to help you anytime. It’s within walking distance to so many restaurants, drug stores, and shopping. And right across the street from the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights before our cruise. Great location!! Hotel is located on the closed off section of the main boulevard and has great access to beach front! Simply cross the street. Restaurants choices everywhere, so no problem with dinning out. Grocery stores are nearby which works perfectly if you want to cook in your room! Note that rooms have electric counter top and convection oven / microwave. Works out very nice to save on meals. Download the trolley app which will take you around for free!!! Rooms were very nice!! Only two bedrooms face the ocean front. Also has a top floor outside hot tub and fitness. Only 23 min from cruise port, we use Lyft during our experience.
