Avoid ground floor rooms due to noise of people coming in and out. Anything from floor 2 is okay and very nice.

Stay away! Hot room and poor air conditioning, polyester bedsheet, ridiculous kitchen without basic utensils. Cherry on top, blocked outside the room late night for more than one hour after day out and no decency of any rebate No concierge

Excellent location and decor! Will happily make this my accommodation for future short trips. Highlights: location! Decor, 24 hour front desk, safe neighborhood, great wifi, location!!!

The hotel did not have an air conditioner in the room. It was early May, 90 degrees and humid! The nights did not cool down, so the only option was to sleep with the sliding doors open. Worst decision ever! We soon were woken up to nonstop mosquito bites at 5 am. Mind you, the room was still hot. So now the dilemma was, do we close the doors and sweat uncontrollably, or do we leave the doors open and continue to be bitten? We decided to check out the next day and book a room at Utopic, which was up the block. We originally booked a 5 day stay at Casa Tonal, ended up checking out the morning after our first stay without a refund. The staff did not seem happy or even greeted us. It was a nice hotel, just not much customer service or air conditioning.

2 things I didn’t like. The bathroom had a nasty smell and the TV never worked. Overall good place.

From the very beginning we couldnt get out of the room as the front door handle for our room was broken from the inside. We had to get assitance from other family members staying in the same buidling to open the door from the outside . This is a big hazard issue especially in case of a fire (Issue fix the next day). The whole building does not have any A/C , so you will have to acclimated to the room or buy some extra fans as we did. On our second to our last day we lost water from 10pm till 1pm the following day . No restrooms , no shower , no water running at all. Lastly , only one person at the front desk (secuitry) they acted clueless when asking for any of the issues we were having .

Lack of communcation, security gaurd is litteraly the only person at front desk. Phone # I was given no one answered nor text back. No running water night till 12pm.
No AC, had to buy 2 fans from Walmart.

The property was great since it was close to so many places. The management was very responsive except for the last day when all three of our rooms had our water supply shut off. Luckily we had bottled water to clean ourselves with.
Overall the place is clean, accessible and safe.
The last day when we left very early in the morning, the security guard stayed watch til we left to make sure we felt safe (since it was very early, no one was out).

No air conditioning, they suggest opening a window but then you get eaten by mosquitos.
Loud 7 am Yoga class in the patio next to the room. Impossible to sleep.
