St. Austell

Reception Lovely staff always a good morning or hello,our room was very clean beds so comfortable,credit to the housekeeping team,great food next door it’s the best premier inn we have ever stay in!

Outstanding stay at Carclaze (St. Austell) perfect room - nothing too much trouble for staff. Helped us with places to visit. Mitch on the front desk was very very helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Lena did a fantastic job amazing and clean, could do a bit better with smelly of toliets just smells it bit dusty but everything else was fantastic

3-8 August 25 - in Cornwall for daughter's wedding. Had an excellent stay - PIs are generally similar (although this one looks delightfully different) but it was the people that made it - both in reception and in the Carclaze restaurant - they were superb - no matter how busy, they always had time to help and never seemed stressed, always cheerful and kind (but in the restaurant in particular they were working very hard) - most impressed - thank you!

Room was absolutely boiling. It was 13-14 degrees outside yet the room was 27+. The window wouldn't open anymore than a jar, nearly went and slept in the car. Not a good night's sleep at all. Waste of money, hotel is in desperate need of some TLC and Aircon. Looking run down, room smelt, very dark in the room with 1 ceiling light (room 144). Hotel generally was in poor condition, lots of walls that were marked and damaged, carpets looked like they needed a good steam clean. Very disappointing to be honest.

Great base to explore! Close to Eden project, Charlestown, Mevagissey & St Austell. Reception & cleaning staff very friendly & helpful, added to ease of stay. Room nice although basic. Fan already provided on arrival as room was 27°c. Will definitely re-book if in the area
