Hôtel Spa Face à la Mer

This place is perfect! This was our last part of a trip in France and it did not disappoint. The hotel is right on the beach and has plenty of amenities near by. The duplex apartment was modern, clean and has everything you could need for a great stay. 5 star ⭐️ place with perfect staff. Also highly recommend the breakfast, yummy and great quality.

Face a la Mer - Merville Franceville Plage This is a favourite – perfectly situated – as name says – opposite the sandy beach stretching almost from the Orne to Dives sur Mer and beyond. Backed by dunes, perfect for quiet sunbathing. Outdoor terrace to watch smart Parisians parade with designer kids. Lots of beach activity to see: kite surfing, beach volleyball, digging for cockles, shore fishing, trotting ponies. Dog friendly. Glorious sea-facing rooms, coastal, casual décor, dreamy beds, breakfasts to last you the day. Difficult to single out what gives it the top edge – possibly the staff headed by Jean-Jacques and Emma (perfect English, helped us access complex booking arrangements over the Channel.) After hectic days eating at Trouville fish market, watching the Ferraris and Maserati, it’s good to curl up in the comfy bar with a croque monsieur, cheese or charcuterie board and bottle of rose. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Good shops in Merville too!

This hotel is definitely a destination hotel. Merville-Franceville-Plage is a sleepy town that you can cross in minutes. The hotel is literally face à la mer (next to the sea). Bring your beach items, walk across the street and you're right at the beach. It's lovely. The lobby of the hotel is very tastefully done. Modern. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Our view of the sea was exquisite. The toiletries in the room were of a very nice quality (I wish I would have written down the name so I could buy some). We did not hear our neighbors the whole time we were there. Breakfast---wow. This is the best hotel breakfast I have ever encountered. So many cakes,pastries, jams, viennoiseries, just wow. On nice days you can also sit outside. Service- Service was absolutely professional. I speak French, so I cannot attest to how it is in English but I imagine it's great. The spa--- The spa is tiny and made private. The size is perfect for a couple. The hamman was lovely, the whirlpool was delightful, and the nordic shower felt great. We will gladly return to this destination. Bravo, toute l'equipe de l'hotel! There are a few restaurants in town---so get reservations.

Hôtel familial avec un rapport qualité prix/prix très intéressant. Les chambres sont très propres et la literie est de qualité. Le SPA privatif est appréciable et la vue est imprenable avec le ciel changeant au dessus de la Manche. Personnel très attentifs et discret. A recommander les yeux fermés. Nous y retournerons.

L'accueil, la literie, la propreté, la déco, le parking, les petits déjeuners, la chambre TOUT est parfait pour nous..Un grand merci pour votre accueil. beau spot pour une visite hors saison face à la mer. Ecoulement de douche a revoir signalé mais c'est vraiment un détail...

hotel avec une belle vue directe mer pour les chambres coté mer. chambres assez bien insonoriser, salle d'eau pratique et propre prestation de ménage à revoir, toile d'araignée au plafond dans la chambre, tv avec tous les films en vo impossible de mettre en FRANCAIS le personnel ne sait pas comment faire. le wifi est instable avec des coupure d'internet à répétions si ces désagréments étaient résorbé rapidement, cela serait très bien
