Hotel in zona Rotary Walk, Merimbula

We booked 6 nights in a Beachcomber Villa. We landed in Villa 1 which was the furthest back so the views were nowhere near what they’d be in Villa 3 or 4. If you specifically want that view from the photos then request one of those ones. The villa was well proportioned for our little family of 4. The kids bedroom gets very warm and the fan isn’t great but the rest of the villa was well ventilated and breezy thanks to the elevation of the villa itself. The deck was lovely to sit and have meals. We didn’t sit indoors to eat at all. There was a card left stating our villa had been cleaned by 3 people…it wasn’t the best with a dirty bin lid, messy cupboards, and some sort of caked stains on the kids bedsheets but we put this down to a busy Jan season. Having shaded parking under the villa was a huge plus however a downside is a noisy road out back. The early rises of 5am heading to the beach is loud in the bedrooms. Our kids are up early so not much of an impact to us but if you like a lie in that could be an issue. The park had great facilities like the kids club, splash park and tennis court. I loved the additions of pizza night, fairy floss and doughnut vans visiting. The pool is advertised as heated. Apparently it used to be but 2yrs ago the heating broke and it’s very expensive to fix. We were lucky and visited in good weather but I’d be disappointed if I thought I was getting a heated pool in sub par weather and ended up with that. Also the advertised on-site cafe is closed and has been for some time. Wasn’t an issue for us and you can walk down the hill to a coffee van which is there most of the day. Good coffee too. We’d stay again but I think I’d look at one of the clifftop condos next time.

Clean and easy to find. Not far from the sea

Grande posizione vicino alle negozi locali e alla stazione degli autobus, fermata locale non lontano neanche ma tutto in città è molto compatto, molto comodo letto, TV abbastanza decente, aveva tutte le altre strutture che mi servivano, tra cui caldaia con tè e caffè, Non ho avuto molta interazione con il personale, non ho sentito nulla di rumore per le due notti che ero li', e non ho usato la piscina mentre andavo alla spiaggia, quindi non posso commentare molto altro su queste.

It's on the hills with view of roof tops and distant water. Enjoyed the outlook. Location is fine, not far to everything, eg Wheelers is less than 10 min drive. We had an upper floor unit facing the view, but others will not get that. The units are probably from the 80s, but no complaints about condition and seemed clean and nicely presented. Kitchen and bathroom well- equipped, lots of good linen, even a corkscrew in the kitchen. Hot water pressure is good. Bathroom a good size. Slept well too, so bed comfortable. If you are comfortable this style, then recommended.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Saphire Beach in numerose occasioni con la nostra caravana, ma in questa occasione abbiamo deciso di offrirci un appartamento vacanza Cabin 11. Questo è stato molto bello, era senza spot pulito e un luogo molto tranquillo. Le nostre camere sono molto impegnative e professionali in ogni modo. Ci siamo divertiti e torneremo. P.S ... Solo una piccola nota alle signore che servono l'appartamento quando puliscono la stanza, chiudono la porta principale e puliscono la pista inferiore. Ovviamente la stanza era pulita mentre la porta era aperta. Solo una piccola menzione, ma se non fosse stata portata all'attenzione, non ne sarete consapevoli.

outstanding location and beautiful grounds. Room was good size, well equipped and clean. The room looks slightly dated probably because of stained wood panels and tiles. Breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was great. The chef is outstanding, and the dishes are very innovative. Eating in the open patio next to the pool with nice evening breeze adds to the enjoyment. Met the owner by chance and he is most gracious and a very nice fellow. All his staff seem to enjoy working for him and that shows in the service provided. This place is head and shoulders above the other motels or small hotels that we have stayed in during our two-week Victoria and NSW road trip.

Mio marito e io ci siamo prenotati per una notte, e quando siamo arrivati, l’odore all’interno della stanza era così forte di prodotti di pulizia che dovevamo aprire tutte le finestre e la porta anteriore per ottenere aria fresca. Quando abbiamo cercato di andare a letto, l’odore era ancora molto forte e cominciava a peggiorare la gola, e dovevo rimuovere il condizionamento dell’aria per mantenere la ventilazione e lasciare aperta la porta anteriore. Abbiamo cercato di dormire, ma non abbiamo dormito e all'inizio della mattina abbiamo deciso di lasciare la stanza vuota. Ho chiamato il motel e ho chiesto un rimborso e la ricevitrice mi ha detto che aveva avvertito il proprietario di non lasciare la stanza a causa dell'odore, ma che non c'era nessun altro posto disponibile al momento della mia prenotazione online. Mi disse che non poteva aiutarmi e che lasciava un messaggio per il suo manager per affrontare il rimborso. Il proprietario mi ha contattato per posta elettronica e mi ha detto che quello che mi aveva detto il ricevitore era sbagliato e che la stanza era buona. (cioè che la sua ricevitrice aveva mentito) mi disse che doveva chiedere un rimborso. Dopo diverse e-mail, e telefonate a ******** e a ******, mi è stato dato il giro e non sono riuscito a ottenere un rimborso. Anche se avevo prenotato via *********, la prenotazione sembrava essere prenota da *********. Il proprietario del motel mi ha informato che aveva chiesto ****** di dare un rimborso. Non ho fatto ripetutamente dei tentativi di ottenere il motel per rimborsarmi e hanno rifiutato di farlo.

Excellent location and 2 bedroom cabin was neat and tidy. Great park with beautiful friendly kangaroos and bird life. Most facilities were good although the spa was unserviceable and there was some roadworks being done. It is a great location and we will definitely be back again in the warmer months
