Hotel in zona SUR URBANO Espacio de Arte, Mendoza

Per essere un hotel 4 stelle lascia abbastanza da desiderare. Quando arrivarono non avevano la nostra prenotazione, e anche se dicevano che era un problema di Trip, non hanno fatto nulla per risolvere. Non abbiamo mai avuto WiFi nella camera, avvisammo e non l'hanno risolto. Il frigorifero della camera era svuotato ... non ci hanno mai avvertiti, quindi abbiamo dovuto chiedere servizio alla stanza con il costo aggiuntivo q ciò implica. Il telecomando funzionava male ....anche non riusciva a risolvere il problema ....en fine ... situazioni che non si aspetta in un hotel di categoria. -

Il personale è benvenuto, utile e amichevole. Uno dei migliori attributi di questo hotel è la posizione, vicino al centro e la zona Aristides piena di bar e ristoranti. L'hotel offre un bel colazione. Tuttavia, questo hotel sembra piuttosto obsoleti. Le camere sono vecchie: le finestre non si apre, le bagni sono vecchie, ecc. Le porte dell'ascensore si bloccano (non si apre) sul primo piano. La prima volta, mi fermai e pensai di dover colpire il pulsante di allarme fino a quando non lo spinse per un altro piano e potevo uscire dall'ascensore.

Una bella vista di Mendoza! Caffè di colazione piacevole sul terrazzo dell'hotel dove possiamo apprezzare!

Il personale qui è sorprendente. Tutti sul desk front sono stati così gentili e utili, e sono usciti dalla loro strada per farci sentire speciale. Non dimentichiamo mai il livello di servizio che abbiamo ricevuto. Il buffet del colazione è stato grande! Vorrei solo che il ristorante fosse aperto di nuovo. La zona della piscina è bella, ed è a 15 minuti a piedi dalla Plaza Independencia, con le principali aree di ristorante vicini a andare. In generale, è un ottimo hotel e rimarremo lì ancora nel nostro prossimo viaggio! 👍👍👍👍👍

Issue #1: first day. I had prepaid my 3 night reservation for this hotel which looked fine on pictures. When checking in the receptionist refused to take my international debit card for deposit as incidentals, card that I was able to use in multiple businesses around Argentina. He refused even though there is a sign from their country's Ministry of Finance stating debit cards cannot be refused. They could so easily had charged my card and refund it afterwards (as other Argentinian businesses do). The receptionist said their system doesn't allow it. This is already dissapointing considering it's a US chain hotel where one expects certain standards. I had to leave a cash deposit. He did not provide me with a receipt for this money until I asked for one. Issue #2: second day. After returning from walking around town on a very hot day, find out the card to my room was deactivated. I had to go to reception to ask for it to be re-activated. The staff working was the same as the previous day; when they saw me they exchanged complicit glances and smirks. The situation seemed to be funny to them! Issue #3: second day. Finally able to access my room, wanted to shower and come to find out it the room had been cleaned but the only two large towels were removed (no extras anywhere to be found as most hotels will have). I had to call reception to ask for towels, and after a while what I received were small, hand towels. Towels were made from a rough material, don't expect anything soft when you go to Hilton Mendoza. After a while a second person delivered two large towels. Conclusion: I am beyond dissapointed and (still) angry over booking a vacation at Hilton Mendoza! I did not envision traveling from the USA over 18 hours on airplanes and 7 hours by bus to stay at a US hotel with all of these issues! 4 star rating on Trip advisor is completely incorrect! I don't go on vacation abroad to be wasting precious time having conversations with hotel management over their subpar costumer service. Do yourself a favor and don't book Hilton Mendoza!
