Absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown Mendoza. walking distance to great restaurants and the town square. Accommodations were perfect and the breakfast we had before our day of wine tours was fabulous. The owner of the B&B, Mercedes was the most delightful woman. Would recommend this B&B highly

What a love Bed and Breakfast! Mercedes and Javier were so welcoming. There were five adults in our group, so we had the second floor to ourselves. The rooms were very nice and there was a sitting area on the landing where we could gather. The rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was delicious. The Plaza Italia is centrally located and the area is very walkable. Javier recommended nearby restaurants of which there are many. We booked a private wine tour with Javier, which I strongly recommend doing.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mendoza! Javier was very helpful with helping us plan visits to wineries last minute and gave us great local restaurant recommendations. The hotel is centrally located, very cozy, and the stay is super accommodating.

We loved our stay at Plaza Italia B&B. From the moment that Mercedes opened the door, we felt at home. The home is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The check-in process is very personal and Mercedes was very enthusiastic in showing us on the map places to go and explore in Mendoza. The room was clean and comfortable, it had outlets for American electronics, which made it so convenient as we didn’t have any adapters with us. Javier also provides tours to the vineyards & tasting rooms (bodegas) and thanks to him, we were able to enjoy two bodegas we wanted to visit. For an experience in Mendoza from locals, I happily recommend this place 🤗

We booked the B&B having read about it in The Lonely Planet guide and are so glad we did! From the arranged pick up from the airport through to the return taxi four nights later our stay could not have been better or smoother. When we arrived one of the owners Javier ( who has amazing English language skills) welcomed us to ‘our home whilst in Mendoza’ and sat to talk through a map with lots of recommendations of restaurants and things to do / see. We’d arranged to do two wine tours during our stay with Javier, these were superb for two wine novices! We were initially concerned two full days out would mean some potential repeated experiences- not at all. All six places visited were very different from each other- the lunch paired with wine in the Uco Vally was divine. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend B&B Plaza Italia to anyone wanting somewhere to stay that is very personal but has very high standards.
