Questa seconda volta è stata aspettata, andare all'aeroporto per il volo presto e arrivare a 15 minuti a piedi.Se è conveniente, è una buona scelta vicino all'aeroporto di Melbourne.Il personale è anche molto amichevole e paziente. Se c'è una grande scatola da prestare attenzione, senza elettricità, siamo al secondo piano due volte, quindi va bene.

Room was clean, bed comfortable and sheets crispy clean, had a great nights sleep for a layover on my way to Perth. Amenities were basic, appreciated the ironing board and iron, with fresh milk for a coffee. Reasonable price for the nights accommodation. They offer an airport shuttle which I used after the flight from NZ, which was easy to organise and walked back to the airport very easily the following morning.

We booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors. The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future. Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask. The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too. The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table. PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.

Recentemente sono rimasto al Holiday Inn Melbourne mentre sono andato a Albury. Il soggiorno è stato medio complessivo abbastanza comodo per una breve visita, ma non c'è stato niente di particolare. La posizione era conveniente per i miei piani di viaggio, e la stanza forniva le essenze per un riposo notturno. Mentre serviva la sua finalità come un fermo, c'è spazio per migliorare l'atmosfera e le strutture per rendere l'esperienza più memorabile. È una decente opzione per un soggiorno rapido se si sta passando.

Arriving Melbourne late at night and have a morning flight the next day. Chose Parkroyal given its price and super convenient location: just walk pass the footbridge at 2/F of the terminals and take the hotel lift at the carpark to reach the reception floor. Room is big and clean, water is hot enoguh and with a bath tub, sadly it was too late I haven’t used it.  The service was good too that they have totally no problem at all for me to store the big luggage for 5 days as I will be flying to Tasmania for few days trip with a small luggage.  Just don’t like about the pillow which are too soft. But the rest, perfect!!

I vantaggi sono stati il personale dell'hotel, che era molto accogliente e attento, e il conveniente autobus gratuito per e dall'aeroporto. La posizione stessa è una distanza ideale dall'aerostazione, ma è piuttosto vecchia, con lunghe, inattractive strade di vecchio mattone rosso che odoravano di sigarette e mustinetti. Le aree comuni erano estremamente limitate, come se fosse un pensiero, e non riesco a immaginare chiunque li userebbe, quindi probabilmente sono solo per lo spettacolo, ma non sembra invitante. La vista dal retro dell'hotel ha guardato attraverso alcuni alberi bassi a un campo di sporco, che è abbastanza giusto per un hotel 3-star, tuttavia sembra che ci sia una grande quantità di (guardia?) cani che sono tenuti in una zona chiusa su quella proprietà solo 40 metri di distanza dalla casa, e si sbarcano costantemente, giorno e notte, con piccoli piccoli sbarchi estremamente emozionati che è notevolmente alto e difficile da ignorare. C'erano un paio di vecchie scarpe sporche che si sono agglomerate nel cortile dell'hotel, proprio sotto i balconi e la linea d'albero, che era un po' fuori posto. Non c'è molto intorno all'hotel a piedi, compreso il trasporto pubblico, quindi aspettate di utilizzare taxi o uber a meno che non si desidera camminare a distanza estesa. In generale, l'hotel era disponibile per un soggiorno di notte. Tuttavia, non consiglio di rimanere qui per più di un permesso di notte. Non era una comoda o piacevole esperienza, e meglio utilizzato solo per soggiorni di bilancio. L'età dell'hotel è molto evidente nel suo design con crampi e date.

Clean and spacious room just 5min from Melbourne Airport. Free shuttle bus was dispatched to pick us up within 15min. Good breakfast variety with eggs, mushroom, bacon, tomatoes, sausages/ham, bread, pastries, cereal, and yogurt.

Già goduto il nostro soggiorno. La cabina era pulita e fresca. Vorremmo potessimo stare più a lungo. Bonus Pat circa il nostro soggiorno che è solo 3 minuti a piedi per un parco vicino per i bambini di godere. Sicuramente sarà prenotare di nuovo qui 😊

One of the better hotels I have stayed in. The staff are very pleasant and to top things off, there is a free shuttle service to the airport! The pool is def a bonus!

The location and free shuttle services 24/7 to and from the airport is definitely a plus point. Room was big enough and clean for 1 person stay... The soap and shampoo and body lotion provided had a really nice and invigorating smell. Only bad point was my room didn't have toiletries... there were no toothbrush or comb... I called the reception and they said I had to go down to reception to collect it. That was the only inconvenient part. Otherwise excellent place to stop by esp for a layover with odd flying times!
