In 30+ years of travelling around the world, I have never experienced such a welcoming place, thanks to the couple running the place. The Riad is an oasis of peace and quietness in the middle of the old imperial city of Meknes. The old traditional family Riad has been completely redone and tastefully decorated in Moroccan style, every one of the three floors is a voyage through Moroccan history and culture. The rooms are straight from a fairytale story, My room was spacious and very well decorated, the shower was inbelievable, made of stucco-like earthenware. I took several meals in the evening, all traditional Moroccan meals homecooked by Rizlane, it was absolutely amazing, I was mind-blown by the variety of the aromas and tastes. Breakfast is also a traditional Moroccan feast for the mouth. The owner took the time to give me a tour of the old city one evening, he is a very educated gentlemen with a passion for his culture and his city. I should also add that pricewise, this Riad has been the cheapest of all my stays in Morocco, but it was by far my best.

Découverte en septembre 2024 de ce charmant Ryad tout proche du Mausoléee de Moulay Ismael. Très belle situation centrale au calme d'un quartier complètement restauré. Climatisé, coquet et très propre. Mais surtout nous avons été accueillis "comme en famille" par la propriétaire dont il faut absolument déguster la cuisine. Nous y reviendrons si nous devions revenir a Meknes.
