Hotel in zona Templo Belen, Medellin

Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

Mi sorprende, veniva da un altro Ibis in un altro paese, essendo della stessa categoria, Ibis Medellin è molto più in tutto, in Camera, Pulizia, infrastruttura, servizio, ristorante con colazione vario e generoso, personale in generale con buona atteggiamento, super ben situato, zona fenomenale ci sono di tutto, farmacie, ristoranti, Caffè Shop, tra gli altri, sicuro, punto strategico per spostarsi a qualsiasi punto di Medellín. Impianti: in generale, non c'è gratis miniera d'acqua e macchina da caffè nella stanza, caldaia d'acqua. Igiene: meglio, ma le donne che puliscono igiene iniziano a lavorare molto presto ogni giorno, a volte la porta entra. Hotel situato nella zona ricca di Medellín, vicinissimo ad un enorme centro commerciale. Moderno ed elegante a prima vista, ma poi arrivano le sorprese. Stanza minuscola, neanche lo spazio per le valigie (ed eravamo con bagaglio a mano…) ne’ un armadio ne’ tantomeno una stampella da appendere magari al televisore o in bagno (chiesta alla reception, risposta: non sono previste). Un asse ed un ferro da stiro sono però in dotazione alla stanza! In sostanza posso stirare gli abiti che erano in valigia (magari nel corridoio, visto che in stanza non c’è spazio), ma poi devo necessariamente rimetterceli dentro. Bagno anch’esso minuscolo, cieco e senza un piano di appoggio. Se aggiungiamo che le finestre della stanza non sono apribili il senso di mancanza d’aria (o di claustrofobia…) e’ il minimo che possa avvertirsi. Insonorizzazione verso l’esterno buona, ma inesistente all’interno (eravamo al piano, penultimo, sotto al ristorante e lascio immaginare il rumore all’alba), si possono sentire tutti gli ospiti che entrano o escono dalle stanze. . Passiamo alla colazione: spazio inadeguato per la quantità di ospiti dell’hotel, attesa per un tavolo e, poi, per la sua pulizia, scarsa scelta di salato, non si trovano le tazze (ho usato il bicchiere per il caffè), di bevande calde a disposizione solo caffè e cioccolato (entrambi molto annacquati…). Alla richiesta di un cappuccino mi è stato risposto che è a pagamento (figuriamoci un espresso, e siamo nella patria del caffè…): effettivamente richiesta bizzarra un cappuccino a colazione…. Mai trovato un tale disservizio in hotel di questo livello.

In generale, il rapporto costo-benefici è generalmente più lontano dalla stazione della metropolitana, almeno 15 minuti di cammino, ma la rotta è molto complessa, in pratica, si sbaglia

Ho avuto la fortuna di essere ospite nella mia vita di molti hotel Cinquestelle, soprattutto per motivi di lavoro e in qualche caso perché me lo posso permettere. Al Binn Hotel di Medellin abbiamo preso 2 camere doppie: 4 giorni e 5 notti in formula B&B per complessivi 910 euro: regalate perché è veramente splendido, elegante fin dalla hall. Le camere sono grandi ed arredate in modo molto semplice e fine, con bagni grandi e completi di tutto: il mio aveva anche la jacuzzi. Livelli di pulizia e di gentilezza del personale veramente al top. Ma il massimo lo danno: 1) il panorama di Medellin dalla parte più alta del Poblado: mozzafiato; 2) la piscina di acqua calda al 16.mo ed ultimo piano, a fianco di uno splendido roof garden aperto fino a tarda notte; 3) il breakfast, oltre ogni possibilità di confronto con altri per dolce, salato, frutta, piatti tipici colombiani e succhi di frutta freschi. Insomma, un hotel a cui non ho trovato difetti, con un rapporto qualità/prezzo imbattibile. Lo consiglio moltissimo, provare per credere

La stanza dell'hotel è buona, ma il soggiorno non è flessibile, non è necessario aspettare fino a tre, poi una grande ondata di persone deve fare il check-in, lentamente e sprecare più tempo; c'è un bravo fratello sulla reception, aiutare a chiamare Uber, fornire consigli.

This hotel has definitely allowed me to redefine my former thoughts of what is a budget hotel. Whenever I thought “budget hotel,” I always thought of a hotel that was past its prime & a hotel that was dingy, dark, faded & completely 3rd rate. However, this hotel is completely the opposite of those things. To start, the staff at this hotel is genuinely so kind to their guests & they are equally kind & respectful toward each other. The staff is more than efficient at what they do in their professions & this allows the Ibis Budget Itagüí to have such a “feel good” comfortability. The manager here has chosen a wonderful team & your guests thank you very much! I stayed here for 24 nights & I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcomed in any other hotel before. My room was very comfortable, with cozy linens & pillows. I slept beautifully in the bed each night. There’s a big curtained window in each room, which covers most of the wall, allowing natural sunlight to enter the room. You can’t open the windows, but the Ibis Budget Itagüí hotel is fresh & clean... & even though I do enjoy fresh air in my room, I have not one complaint with this hotel! The TV is great (with several English channel options) & electrical outlets were conveniently located throughout my room. My Internet was so fast & air-conditioning functioned perfectly. The elevators are very quick & I never waited long for one. Breakfast each morning was surprisingly more extensive than I had imagined, with many fresh fruits, omelettes to order, cereals, yogurts, breads, 2 fresh juice choices & delicious Colombian coffee with heated milk was available. The staff working in the restaurant was always so accommodating & friendly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get hungry & I could always go downstairs to the hotel lobby, where they have a nice selection of sandwiches & pizzas (which they gladly heated for me). There’s lots of beverage options & chips & chocolates, etc. Security is always present on the street level, as you enter the hotel, & they ensure the security of guests & staff without being intrusive. The security staff is also very polite, but efficient at what they need to do, in order to ensure everyone’s safety. This hotel is spotlessly clean with a phenomenal cleaning staff. Sometimes I would leave my room around dinner time and they would still clean my room spotlessly & they would change the sheets for me whenever I requested. The hotel appears to be a very new & a modern building. I think they just celebrated their 2nd anniversary here. On the street level, located inside this hotel building, is a bakery called Tostao’ Cafe & Pan. Everything there is delicious & all of the pastries are very French! Next-door (still inside & on the street level of the Ibis Budget Itagüí building) is a delicious & comfortable family restaurant called Burrata, which is owned by a husband & wife & their little boy. The food is delicious, with a daily menu of the freshest ingredients & tast

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno rilassante nel Fairfield da Marriott Medellin Sabaneta. La posizione dell'hotel è a piedi di distanza dal Mall Shopping Mayorca. Passeggiando attraverso il Mall Shopping Mayorca si arriva al metro. Il metro è un buon metodo di trasporto per viaggiare a Medellín. La camera è spaziosa, comoda e sicura. La camera ha anche una bella vista della città. L'hotel offre anche un colazione a buffet gratuito. È aperto dalle 6 alle 10. Il personale è amichevole e utile. Grazie speciali a Jefferson. Era molto accogliente, molto attento e utile. L'hotel è perfettamente situato e dispone di personale amichevole. Si consiglia il Fairfield di Marriott Medellin Sabaneta se si cerca un hotel per soggiornare.
