Hotel is very run down and not clean. The lobby smells overwhelming with Scented Spray, so I was glad our room wasn't on the first floor. Our bathtub was dirty and drain plug didn't stay open. Ceiling exhaust vent was falling off the ceiling. The outlets and lamp at the desk didn't work, including the wall outlet behind it. Our comforter had several large tears in it that were being covered up by the white bedspread sheet. Lamp shade was broken. Room felt damp and smelt like mildew.
I tried calling the front desk to complain about the room, but got no answer. So I went downstairs and told the front desk attendant that there were things wrong with our room, but didn't feel that I needed to switch rooms since we had already unpacked everything. I was pretty sure another room at this place wouldn't be any better. I provided a list of items that were wrong and she said she would give it to you manager. We got no response from the manager or maintenance. We checked out 2 days later and I requested that we received a discounted rate due to all the issues. Management didn't come to the lobby and just told the attendant they had to call customer service to see if they could refund any of the charge. I walked out after getting so frustrated with the front desk person. Ended up with only $50 refund for our 3 night stay and the attendant telling me that we should have just switched rooms. Hotel is not worth the price. Could have stayed at a Motel 6 for half the price.
