There is a fresh water well in the front yard does have nice spring water with a well bucket and rope so you can experience what it used to be like to draw water from a well prior to indoor plumbing. Since the well cap doesn’t fit tightly there could be some slugs/bugs in the well water, so drinking is not recommended.The road “Childers Ridge” that you drove in on is a nice place to take a walk but do be observant for the occasional traffic. There are some grilling utensils on the porch in the wooden cabinet. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin located in acres of forest with a nearby creek and beautiful rock cliffs is the perfect family getaway! There is a king size bed in 1 bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has bunk beds--full on bottom and twin on top. There is also an air mattress available. We have a full size kitchen with a stove, microwave, refridgerator, and dishwasher. It is supplied with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. The spacious porch is equipped with a gas grill and furniture which allows plenty of room for relaxing, visiting, and grilling. You can sit under the stars and make s'mores around the firepit. We are located just 5 miles from Cumberland Falls, the home of the famous Moonbow. Numerous hiking trails and water sports are nearby. There is no tv in the cabin, but we have very fast WiFi.
