Hotel Berghof Mayrhofen Gmbh

From start to finish, our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The food was truly 5-star—every meal was beautifully prepared, and the chefs were amazing. The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. A special mention to the young man at reception, who was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. He really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The spa was superb—clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Our room was brilliant, and the cleaners clearly made an extra effort to ensure it was spotless and welcoming. The location was also ideal, just a short walk from the ski lift. Overall, an outstanding experience. We will definitely be returning!

Good location very close to two ski bus routes for the Penken and Ahorn. A few minutes walk to the station for trains to Zell and Kaltenbach or buses to Hintertux and elsewhere. 10mins walk to the centre of town. Food was good with a broad selection of salads, soups, cold meats and puddings from the buffet, with a choice of main each night. Indoor/outdoor pool, wellness area with sauna, and other facilities. Had the pool to ourselves on some occasions, outside of the post skiing, late afternoon/early evening hours. We were in the original hotel building and rooms were comfortable and traditional, and we also had a balcony. Games room and trampoline area in the basement. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, it is an excellent choice.

The best hotel in mayrhofen!!!!!. Fotis is the best waiter, he treated us so well !!!!. Value For Money is 100 precents. The rooms are excellent, we had Sauna in our own room !!!!! The dinners here are very very good and i like it all. Best hotel .

Have just returned from a fabulous Christmas break in Mayrhofen with our two adult daughters. Not visited before but our requirements were for a comfortable, convenient spa hotel. The Berghof ticks these boxes. Located at the end of the main Strasse you are around 800m from the main Penken gondola and 1000m from the Ahorn gondola. It is uphill from the hotel and a little challenging in ski boots but there are frequent free bus services to and from with the bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel has a great ski room with heated boot rack but accessible by around 30 steps. Our rooms in the hotel were in the main (old) part and a little dated in decor but comfortable enough. We were a little limited in wardrobe/storage space but the room was a good size with large (communal) terrace, full bath (shower over) and sep wc. Shame there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and also would have liked a better selection of toiletries for what is a spa hotel. One word of warning though, we had room 123 and as the hotel is on a busy road junction, the traffic noise was quite noticeable in the early hours with trucks servicing the hotels and restaurants in the town. The spa facilities are good, with an indoor/outdoor heated pool, saunas and “adult” relaxing lounge. Admittedly we were there over Christmas, but the pool was overrun with children whose parents seemed incapable of reminding them that they were sharing with guests who didn’t want to be bombed, splashed of dived on! Robes are provided but no complimentary sliders. You certainly wont go hungry at the Berghof with an amazing restaurant providing extensive buffet breakfasts and dinners. The served dishes were beautifully presented and the staff were friendly. Good wine list too. After dinner there is a large lounge/bar with live entertainment which was fun! Overall a great stay at the Berghof.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel, which is a five-star experience!! Large rooms, extensive balcony, great shower and absolute cozy beds made this sray special. Having the gym, the pool and spa in the same building certainly made the visit even better. The restaurant Was absolutely wonderful because the staff made it so. We enjoyed the extensive fine wine selection and can’t rave enough about the friendliness of the personnel in the restaurant and in the bar. You can tell people really enjoy working for the ownership and no matter how busy they were. They always found time to make you feel special.
