Hotel in zona Museo Del Formaggio Majorero, Maxorata

La casa è molto pulita ma tutto è molto vecchio e usato, la TV molto vecchia è impossibile da vedere, anche la cucina e gli utensili sono molto vecchi (non li usiamo) e i letti sono uguali e vecchi.

I arrived at Castillo in the early evening of October 2nd 2023 as a solo traveller. Having left home some 8 hours previously, I felt tired , hungry , and thirsty and was therefore looking forward to being welcomed to my apartment quickly and efficiently as a holidaymaker. Instead I found myself face to face with a surly and charmless young man who ran through the check in procedure in a bored and disinterested fashion before thrusting a grainy and badly photocopied map into my hand in order to find my apartment myself amongst hundreds of similar white bungalows in the complex At this point I might add I’m the only traveller checking in at that point. Some 45 minutes later I find my apartment after walking round the complex umpteen times , if the check in guy had removed himself from behind the desk and simply pointed to a gate 50 yards up the road all this could have been avoided. The apartment was tired looking , sagging curtains , broken sofa bed , the main beds were uncomfortable metal frame affairs with a mismatched wooden headboard jammed up between them and the walls No air con , simply antiquated ceiling fans/lights which were hard to figure out to keep running without the lights on. Kitchenette appallingly equipped . Something scuttles when I open a cupboard Blocked drains emitting foul odours in the bathroom The roads around the complex are shocking , featuring broken manhole covers , broken electrical boxes , discarded rubbish lying around , and oh watch out for cars randomly crossing your path without warning from the strange little mini roundabouts which allow cars to zoom in front of people in a pedestrian zone. Also beware the electric scooters hacking around everywhere I think I had 3 room service visits in a fortnight , and despite paying for late checkout on my last day I then had a cleaner wondering why I was still there at 12 , I had to google the words paid late check out to get rid of her , obviously someone hadn’t done their job! Finally if you come here and are not particularly fit , it’s approximately 1 1/4 miles to the nearest beach , despite saying beach resort and a steep uphill climb on the return I’m sure Castillo will give the standard reply to this review , but you need to revamp your rooms , employ staff that are good with people , repair your roads , look after your grounds properly , including using the irrigation system in order to avoid the eyesore of dead plants everywhere, last but not least some general information given to guests and proper signage around the place would greatly help!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato in vari hotel sull’isola, ma l’unico in cui non vediamo l’ora di tornare è lo Sheraton!!! Hotel con igiene eccellente, camere belle e spaziose con ottimo servizio di housekeeping. Il personale della Reception è gentile, sveglio e sempre disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Questo hotel offre agli ospiti la scelta di 4 ristoranti: -La Veranda per il pranzo -El Faro con cucina mediterranea per la sera -ristorante asiatico per la sera -classico Buffet internazionale con serate a tema per la sera. Noi non amando il buffet e la cucina asiatica, ci siamo trovati sempre benissimo a La Veranda e a El Faro. Alla Veranda in zona piscina ottima cucina sia per la qualità che per la varietà dei piatti, con servizio top. Al ristorante El Faro atmosfera romantica con cucina di livello e come alla Veranda servizio top. Non per ultimo, va menzionato il Bar sulla terrazza…. ottimi i cocktail con prodotti di altissima qualità e anche lì servizio top. Ma il vero punto di forza della ristorazione/bar è il personale…. sempre cordiale, sorridente, disponibile, ma soprattutto di grande professionalità. Direttore e tutti i suoi collaboratori nei vari reparti sempre presenti e disponibili. In conclusione torneremo per l’ottava volta. Complimenti e grazie a tutti. Gian Luca e Elisa

El lugar esta bien, pero tal vez hayan mejores hoteles por el mismo precio. La Playa de Caleta de Fuste es ideal para recorrer la isla porque esta en el centro de la misma, con un coche tienes 1 hora para arriba y otra para abajo desde este hotel para ir a las mejores playas. Tambien te puedes relajar en la playa que tiene el hotel con una piscina artificial hecha por el mar muy linda.

L'ostello ha una posizione molto buona, a 7 minuti dall'aeroporto, hai un autobus dall'aeroporto che ti lascia a 2min camminando dall'ostello,la linea 3. E Inoltre, hai le auto come a 5 min camminando che escono molti autobus,per diversi luoghi dell'isola. La spiaggia è a 6 min camminando per il porto,le splendide viste . E dire, l'ostello molto basilare, camere con frigorifero e ventilatore, ampie, sono abbastanza buona qualità,prezzo. Ma c'è la pulizia che è importante. Per me il migliore dei ricevitori, il signore della mattina e Samanta, la ragazza della sera, super attenti e affascinanti. Ripeti, sono venuto con un buon gusto di bocca.
