Now more than ever due to the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation we are focusing on our guest experience and ensuring we are exceeding the protocols from the worlds leading health experts including the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC. Please note that on 19 March 2020 the Republic of Mauritius has issued a government advisory closing the border to all arriving passengersl. In addition a mandatory curfew has been implemented as of 23 March 2020 which means that guests will not be able to enjoy the full OneAndOnly experience. Guests can continue to enjoy the resort beach and pools- the gardens and Club One. Dining will be available at La Terrasse and en suite. Il resort è meraviglioso e curato nei minimi dettagli. Si trova su una penisola in mezzo al mare e ciò consente di potere vedere sia l’alba che il tramonto. I giardini sono stupendi, così come anche la spiaggia. Le palme sono semplicemente pazzesche. Le camere sono nuove, ampie e molto belle. La colazione era eccezionale, ma mi sarei aspettata più scelta a livello di opzioni di ristorazione……per cena c’erano solo 3 ristoranti: La Terrasse (buffet), Le Dame De Pic (un francese stellato) e Tapasake (un giapponese). Tutti buoni (il migliore è il buffet), ma avrei pensato di trovare maggior scelta. Il cibo nel ristorante a bordo piscina era “just average”. Anche il cocktail organizzato dal GM era piuttosto scarso. Altra cosa che non funziona in maniera corrispondente allo standard O&O è il kidsclub: c’è un’ottima programmazione ma le ragazze non sono accoglienti e sorridenti….le mie figlie dopo la prima volta non sono più volute andare. Inoltre, non abbiamo mai più visto il nostro butler dopo il momento del nostro arrivo. Non è venuto nemmeno a salutarci alla partenza. Nel complesso, il resort è sicuramente splendido ma potrebbe essere gestito meglio.

We only stayed one night as a treat for my husband's birthday. The service was impeccable. The kids loved waterskiing at the St Geran as the boat can take them in the backwaters, which are very calm compared to the ocean. The kids said this was their favorite hotel

The most wonderful hotel. Far beyond other 5* hotels. The facilities were incredible. The activities were excellent- cycling, sailing and water skiing being our favourite! The food was exceptional and the staff so friendly. Thank you for hosting us.

For reference, we stayed in February in a 2 bedroom suite. I often get very frustrated with hotel rooms. Often so many designers haven't thought through the function of the room only the aesthetics, however here the room was perfection! Luxuriously designed, super spacious, with well thought through lighting and plug sockets in all the right places. Each room has a huge dressing room and an even bigger bathroom with solid closing doors ( my pet hate is glass doors which lack privacy and wakes your partner up at night when you turn the light on to use it) huge bath tub and indoor and outdoor shower. It is certainly has wow factor. We loved the welcome gifts, the hats and water bottles were a particularly nice touch. The service and rest of the resort match. There was literally nothing one could fault. There are many restaurants to enjoy around the resort so you never get bored. Food was of the highest standard at prices you would expect of such a hotel. We had a half board package which I would highly recommend. Kids club was great with a great programme of activities. My children are on the cusp of turning 12 and they let them pick and choose their activities from both the younger club and Tribe. We booked a dolphin/ whale trip through the hotel and it was incredible. We saw both whale and dolphin and our captain was ahead of the curve in getting to the creatures before they were surrounded by hoards of tourists. The whole resort is pristine and superbly managed. Service is impeccable. I highly recommend. We cant wait to return.

It was recommended so I came with high expectations and they were far exceeded by the experience. We met so many nice people who were there on holiday. It’s always a good sign when the guests are lovely too! So what can I say about the O&O St Geran? The location is lush with gorgeous views in every direction. The room was spacious and very comfortable; we are in love with the sheets. The food is outstanding! We ate in all the restaurants but the buffet was our favourite as the quality and variety was like no buffet we’d experienced. Be warned, alcohol and wine are pricey but the quality is excellent. The Spa has great treatments, I recommend the cold facial !! By far the best thing about the One and Only at St Geran is the team. They are warm and welcoming. So professional. From Arnaud the manager, veterans like the wonderful Mr Eric who looked after us at the beach. Our butler Kumar, Nicole at breakfast and the new team Sony, Yurgesh and Zumar! Too many people to call out by name. They made the holiday for us. Their kindness and care made it more than a luxury holiday. We could fully relax. I’m so glad we came and we will definitely return.

In Mauritius this year and reminiscing of how last year’s vacation was at One & Only, miss being part of the Kerzner family. Hats off to all the fellow Mauritian who works in the hotel and took great care of us, service was amazing, massive rooms and lovely amenities. We need to have more tourists visiting those established 5* hotel instead of the new ones in Mauritius which are not up to the standard.

Thanks to the person who brought the ice cream! Here's what fell short of expectations: Hygiene: Sanitization practices didn't seem to meet expectations, room wasn't cleaned well Pool Safety: It was concerning to see wild ducks swimming with children in the pool. Drink Service: Lipstick marks on cocktail glasses raise hygiene concerns. Shisha Issues: quality was poor and finding ash or insects in the shisha hose is unacceptable. Bird Problem: Staff should be more responsive to requests to replace food snatched by birds. Kids' Club: The messy environment and lack of engaging activities for children is disappointing. Staff demeanor could also be improved. Beach Suitability: While the beach might be okay for adults, it's not ideal for children.

Having stayed across many hotels around the world with my family on vacation, I must say this has been the best experience ever. The staff, the hotel, the beautiful long beach, the well-manicured gardens, the spa are the major highlights of the resort. The food is exceptional, the breakfast has large spread breads, breakfast rolls, freshly baked croissants, crepes and waffles made to order. There is so a huge option of fresh fruits to choose from and the chef is happy to cut some fruit if you do not want to take it from the buffet. Rooms are beautiful, we had 2 rooms and our host with the housekeeping ensured that our rooms were cleaned every day on the time that we requested for. We also had thoughtful turndown gift on a daily basis till our departure. Our son who is a now a teen was given a bag with gifts on the day we arrived; gifts that were meant for teens and not kids...so thoughtful. The staff does not understand the word "NO", it's like finding a genie in a bottle who can grant you unlimited requests, they go above and beyond to ensure that we had a more than comfortable stay. I would love to name of few staff that we encountered during our stay, but this would be unfair to those whose names we do not remember, literally every staff we came across from the gardeners, security, chefs, restaurant staff, managers, housekeeping staff they all had displayed a sense of wanting to serve you with a genuine heart. It is the best hotel that we have been in our whole life! They are very very friendly and also child friendly which is very important when you are traveling with your kids. Our hosts Kumar, Moonien, Marina and Liliana gave us the best services they could give and were always very respectful and kind. At the pool we had the privilege to be served by Eric, who also did everything to make our stay and our son’s stay super! We will definitely come back to One & Only Le Saint Géran with pleasure and can’t even wait to plan our next visit! Thank u team O&O Le Saint Géran!
