One&Only le Saint Geran

We only stayed one night as a treat for my husband's birthday. The service was impeccable. The kids loved waterskiing at the St Geran as the boat can take them in the backwaters, which are very calm compared to the ocean. The kids said this was their favorite hotel

We found Saint Geran four years ago as our Honeymoon destination. We found this then perfect - and again now three times, each November, 2 weeks rest and serenity. We have to travel long way - total travel 22 hours door to door. We know this is perfect - why go somewhere else. We have travelled so much, just seeing something new is not for us the point. Our Hosts, this time Hrithik, Taarish and Kiran go far out of their way to make our stay perfect. Thank you ! On top of that, we start to know several wonderful people in the staff - it is like coming to our home in Mauritius.

We all had such a lovely stay at le saint geran. The amenities, activities, food and staff were all fantastic. Having been there previously, we found it was as good if not better than our last trip and was extremely special to return in celebration of a belated 21st, a 60th and just life! The option of restaurants and standard of food were outstanding and we found with our package to be good value for money, our only disappointment was that we missed out on Prime, due to the restaurant still being renovated during our stay, however will look forward to hopefully returning in the future and having the chance to dine there again, the alternative was excellent and 5 star. The entertainment each night was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Most of all though, special thanks should go to all the staff who went above and beyond to assist and make our stay truly special! Thank you to our hosts Ash, Shubham and Micheline for being so attentive, kind and helpful during our stay, especially at the end with a slight issue with our transfer to the airport, through no fault of the hotel, from a separate transfer company, Ash assisted with getting the issue resolved and guaranteeing to get us to the airport in time for our flight. Their generosity and assistance was appreciated through the whole holiday but even more that evening, so we could leave with as little to no stress. Also big thanks to Fabienne, who was an absolute delight and despite our short interactions with him, he made our evenings so light and enjoyable! Special mentions go to the “sorbet queens” Venecia (apologies if names have been misspelled) and her wonderful colleague, and the rest of the team. They were both fab and always put a massive smile on our faces even on departure day. The team at La Terasse, especially Rohan, Andria, Mandeep, Lina, Darish. Managers Kushal and Sasheen. Also Mr Mukesh and his team at tapasaki, what an amazing meal, and thank you for being so accommodating with food requests. To Pervel and the rest of the fitness team, always a delight to go to the gym and see you all, and what an amazing option of activities available, so much fun, and a great gym too! A mention also to Soni and Alberto at the cabana and beach, who were so lovely and attentive, and finally Fazeer (UNO king!) who was so much fun and a delight to be around. The general manager Dmitri, who made himself very visible to everyone everyday, we appreciate your time and your kindness and you have an amazing team so thank you and sorry we can’t mention everyone! We hope to return again in the future, and know with confidence that it will be as amazing if not more! Thank you all for making it such a lovely holiday which holds many special memories. I don’t know where to begin. Le Saint Géran could be my favourite place on earth. Mauritius is absolutely beautiful, and the location of the hotel is just stunning. The facilities, spa treatments, and food are wonderful, but the people are what make it. Some of the staff have worked there for over 40 years! We had the pleasure of being looked after by Mick at dinner and Khemraj at breakfast - both lovely lovely people with such attention to detail. Jonathan and Hansley always took care of us at the beach making our day. And our hosts were great - Nishi, Geraldine and Kumar. It was impossible not to be happy at The One and Only as it really is paradise. We cannot wait to come back to our home away from home.

Incredibly attentive hosts and a 10/10 stay. The staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful and wonderfully helpful. Another amazing stay, and will definitely be coming back! Thank you all so much at Le Saint Gerán, it was another very memorable and amazing stay!

Amazing stay. The staff are so friendly and the service is exceptional - nothing is too much hassle. The beach is beautiful and there is a great spa with a lovely pool. We did a couple of trips which shouldn’t be missed. Highly recommended!!!!
