The Super 8 Mattoon is conveniently located at Exit 190B off I-57 and Rt. 16. We are within minutes of Eastern Illinois University and Lakeland College. Visit the historical Lincoln Log Cabin and the Lincoln Douglas Debate Center or experience the Amish culture in nearby Arthur and Arcola. When staying at the Super 8 Mattoon you can enjoy many unique shops and restaurants.We provide free high speed wireless Internet Free Local and Long Distance Calls free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee tea and juice and a free newspaper each day. Our rooms feature 25 inch TVs with extended cable and free HBO coffee makers hair dryers AMFM alarm clock radios and On-Demand Movies. Many of our rooms also have recliners. Four or more rooms must be on a credit card hold. Any rooms three and under for a 4 00pm hold are acceptable.

Staff, prices, deposit of $50 with no receipt, check in was awful, breakfast ended at 9 and at 9:05 could not get coffee

Very nice stay
My stay was very good. Checked in promptly by a nice young woman. Room was nice and clean. It was definitely good. I was working on and off so this worked well for me.

Check in was easy, room smelled like burnt popcorn, nothing a little air freshener couldn't fix. Bed was comfy, good enough for 1 night in town!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and I had a large tv screen! Unless you want cereal, go to the Cracker Barrel down the street. I would def stay again

Would not recommend to stay here.
This hotel reeked of ****. No elevator, had a family member with broken leg and walking boot on .. no rooms on lower level available.

Staff was smoking by front door less than 10 ft. They never clean our room. Never replaced the towels one unhappy customer

Convenient from Hwy 30 Hotel
Not a bad stay for a budget hotel. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room as a whole was not cleaned appropriately and the mold and mildew smell was very strong. Breakfast was good with a good selection for a budget hotel. I hope they will renovate and get rid of mold smell from what we were told they are in the process and some rooms do not smell that way. Would stay again if smell was taken care of.
