Matsumoto: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

We wanted to treat ourselves for an anniversary so booked in for a night. It is not cheap - we paid SGD 770 for the night, but it was a good experience all the way from check in to check out. The price includes dinner, which was plated beautifully and featured items like lobster sashimi, beef stew and bracken tempura. Breakfast was done buffet style and had both Japanese and Weatern dishes. There are onsens as well. We opted to pay 3000 yen for a private couple onsen for 45 minutes, but there are also public baths on the 4th floor. The bath on the 3rd floor, just off reception, switches between males in the morning and the ladies in the evening. The room was largish and I loved that the yukatas came in a variety of sizes. There is no room clean up till check out, but they do lay futon beds in the room. The room was well appointed and had a great view, small fridge, a safe, and coffee and tea making facilities. There was even a coffee bean grinder. There were ample power points. Wifi was okay though it did drop now and then. There are separate toilet and shower rooms. There is a souvenir cum general store in the lobby where you can even buy condensed milk ice cream. Staff are friendly and efficient. They do have a free shuttle bus from 5 pm at the Matsumoto train station to the hotel, and one the following morning at 9 am and 10 am back to the station.

Meno di 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione JR, la mia camera gemella è molto spaziosa e viene con un desk. Le letti sono molto comodi e sono disponibili molte attrezzature. Anche il servizio di cena a sera è complimentare. Non abbiamo potuto provare il colazione, ma sembrano grandi con molte varietà. Questo è un posto per stare a Matsumoto.

This was one of the more ‘traditional’ hotels in which we stayed. It was on the older side. Our room was in what was described as the annexe. It was a Nice room of decent size. As is typical in Japan everything was provided plus the extra bonus of chargers and a blue tooth speaker if wanted. It was the only hotel during our stay to provide a Nespresso machine. . Very traditional pyjamas i Liked the room as there was a lobby area in which we could accommodate and easily access suitcases without falling over them. There was a Decent size bathroom with a small bath and shower. The whole room was very clean except for some mould on bathroom tiles. The Shower is good if your height is up to about 6’ 2”. Shower head holes needed bit of lime scale cleaning to flow better. Please note- the shower is in deep raised bath. This was Harder for a short person to get in and out. I Thought I would slip so installation of a grab handle or step would be very helpful. The Beds were very comfortable and the single beds are 4’ which is a good size. The Room did get cold but good heating provided. Plenty of plugs. Room was Very quiet. Breakfast mainly traditional Japanese but some limited western food available. Very good Japanese breakfast. Public baths are on site . There is free Shuttle departing at fixed times to the station which you pre book. Suggest you book the night before. There is a small Cafe attached to the hotel with a small shop. Good atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Location within walking distance of anything you want to see in Matsumoto and the station.

This was a stopover hotel for our tour of Japan. It's well-located, walking distance to the railway station. The hotel carpark is small and we ended up in a garage about a 7-minute walk away. (10-minute if you have luggage.) We ended up in the executive floor. The rooms were all right in size. The major plus is the 14th floor executive lounge. We were there on New Year Day but ALL the restaurants that looked decent said they would only allow us in with reservations. We had not expected that. Fortunately, we had a good fill at the lounge, went to MacDonald's (across the road from the Railway Station) for a burger and then returned to the Lounge to top up with drinks. Although it was near the closing time for the lounge, still the staff topped up the food. Breakfast was pretty good. But the dining area is somewhat small. So we had to wait 10 minutes. They do have a picnic arrangement, which was pretty charming. Staff were friendly, things worked. Yes, I would recommend this.

~7min walk from Matsumoto station with many food options nearby, on usual days. We went on 31 Dec to 1 Jan and the streets were empty; shops were 99% closed, except for Parco / big malls. Hotel staffs were super helpful and friendly. I loved the shoe locker concept at the main entrance of the hotel; you lock your shoes and go barefooted around the hotel. Hotel staff assisted to check on available restaurant opening hours, as well as reservation on 31 Dec since we weren't sure if places were open. Onsen (both indoor and outdoor) was the best, coupled with complimentary laundry facility (dryer at 100yen). Shampoo and body wash were all available for use. There are vending machines at the common area outside the bathroom. Complimentary ramen at night (do check with the hotel on the timing). Soba over new year's countdown at midnight was yummy. Wonderful overall experience. Will explore Onyado in other cities in future!

Nei viaggi precedenti, Matsumoto, l’avevo solo sfiorata. Stavolta, parte del mio itinerario, ho avuto la fortuna di trovarla innevata. È una cittá molto intima, che da un gran senso di tranquillità, in una parola adorabile. Il Tabino Hotel è stato scelto per la vicinanza dalla stazione, circa 7 minuti a piedi, per il prezzo, per la grandezza delle camere e per poi quello che si rivelerà essere grande punto di forza, ovvero, la colazione. La hall è davvero elegante, (check in anticipato on line) e come sempre l’efficienza giapponese, si vede dalle prime battute. 3 receptionist, accolgono con panno caldo per dare sollievo dalla giornata fredda ed innevata. Sono carini e sorridenti. Qualche battuta e siamo già a ridere. Ho sempre pensato che siamo cosi lontani e cosi vicini allo stesso tempo, Italiani e Giapponesi. Le chiavi ci portano alle camere, che vi accennavo spaziose, oltre la media, comprensive di ogni cosa, pulizia ottima. Cavi di ricarica disponibili. Letti confortevoli, sonno ottimo, albergo silenziosissimo. La vista innevata fuori era stupenda, di notte, il parco sottostante di blu, mi sembrava quello di Tokyo Revengers… La colazione, non era la colazione, ma era un pranzo/cena incluse. Di tutto, ramen, salmone, zuppa di miso, tempura! Parte dolce, cornetti, succhi e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Personalmente è stata la miglior colazione, varia, fatta in questo viaggio. Da qui, si raggiungono velocemente tutte le attrazioni del posto. Alla fine, per scaricare la giornata, l’onsen, diviso per genere saprà rigenerarvi. Se venite a Matsumoto, soggiornate qua, a me ha fatto davvero la differenza. Sensazionale!

Dammi a questo hotel un ”eccellente” semplicemente perché ci piaceva. Se sei a Kamikochi e tu resti qui, spero che anche tu lo ami. Raccomando che tu vada dal bus all'hotel Imperial e cammini dall'hotel. È molto più vicino della stazione principale di autobus. L'hotel è proprio davanti al fiume e è circondato dalla natura. Non è un luogo turistico di traffico alto. Luogo fantastico. Il giorno in cui arrivammo era pioggia e freddo. L'hotel offre ponchos, ombrelle, ecc ... bevande calde e snacks nel salone quasi tutto il giorno.Arriviamo alle 10:00 per gettare le valigie e fare un pre-inserimento (check in tempo era 14:00), ma siamo tornati alle 13:00: Ora che era freddo e pioveva, e mia moglie e io, di otto anni, non volevano più camminare. Tuttavia, la nostra stanza era pronta, così noi ci siamo sistemati e ci siamo adorati. La stanza era un angolo, così era luminosa, e avevamo una vista sul fiume e un albero con uccelli. Il buffet si aprì alle 15:00 e si sentiva grande. Ha un bagno interno e esterno. Non grande, ma si sentiva perfetto. Tutto era molto pulito e ben mantenuto. Il buffet da pranzo e colazione erano solo grandi. Mia figlia ha allergie e il suo cibo era perfetto. Il servizio è sempre stato amichevole e eccellente. Le stelle notturne erano sorprendenti. Kamikochi è bellissimo. Grande hotel a Kamikochi.

The staff, service, facilities, and room were top notch. Once our stay was booked, we received an email questionnaire. We are both vegan and they accommodated our preference. asking for our preferences. You can select between Japanese and French cuisine. We both opted for Japanese. When we arrived, they staff greeted us kindly and it was a delightful surprise to be led into a room filled with Christmas decorations. We booked the ”Standard Zen Suite” and were not disappointed. It comes with your own private indoor-outdoor onsen. It was heaven. If you are new to onsen, they also provide helpful instructions upon arrival that you can read. It was my absolute favorite onsen experience. There are three different onsens for guests, each separated by gender. They also provide popsicles, hot/cold tea, in addition to the standard shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair tonic, skin lotion etc. When we were there they had two shuttles which ran from Matsumoto Station to pick you up. One at 3:15 pm and another at 4:30 pm. We would both love to return!
