房間寬敞乾淨衞生，設備齊全，4組電磁爐灶台鍋碗瓢盆餐具一應俱全，特別適合自己做飯。對面跨個雙向車道馬路就是New World大超市，自己動手豐衣足食。晚上看不清還以為馬路中間是矮牆，白天才看到是一條火車軌道貌似荒棄了。距離Hobbiton車程大概不到20分鐘。非常推薦想訂8:50Hobbiton中文講解的提前一晚住在這裏。

地理位置很好，就在Matamata小鎮，整體衞生很不錯，不像一般的motel，對面就有一家大超市可以去買牛排自己做飯，老闆很熱情，一直介紹各種使用，周圍環境清幽，出發去霍比特屯也很方便。

去霍比特村的當晚留宿了瑪塔瑪塔這家汽車旅館，很不錯，超級乾淨，房東親自講解屋內的開關、遙控器位置等等，還會拖鞋進入你的房間，超級尊重，周圍還有個小小公園，有桌椅、自己整了頓bbq，美死咯

貌似叫旅館的，第一反應就是住宿條件一定很差，我們是自駕遊新西蘭，所以都是每天換一個住所，沒想到這個叫旅館的，比之前的奧克蘭一個酒店各方面都強。房間很大，也很衞生。雖然不提供早餐，但是有廚房，走出去不遠處就有個很大的超市，想吃什麼可以買回來自己做。

A great choice if you are staying in Matamata. Stayed for the night before going to the 830am Hobbiton tour. (Highly recommend early tour also to avoid so crowded during the day, and to get great photos). Hobbiton is a 15 minute easy drive. The motel owner showed us around the room, and was very friendly and courteous. New World Supermarket is across the street. Good location. We had a two bedroom unit, and very spacious with the living area, kitchen area, and a big bathroom. Great option for families.

I stay two nights at Matamata Central Motel. I stayed in the front studio unit it was spotless great shower pressure. Wayne, who ran the motel, was very friendly, and he showed me a round studio unit. If you are staying in the front unit, that's roadside units do get a little bit of traffic/train noise, but with double glaze windows, it is not so bad, if you are light sleeper you may certainly notice it There is a New World supermarket just over road/railway track. Also, there is a warehouse and Postie Plus. Would I stay again? The answer is yes, 100 percent I highly recommend staying at Matamata Central Motel.
