Courtyard Cincinnati Mason

⭐ 1 Star I stayed at Courtyard Cincinnati Mason on August 11–12, 2026 without an issue. Because I needed another night, I made another reservation for August 12–13. Despite having a reservation, when I tried to check in for the second night, the hotel told me there was no room available and they would not let me check in. I had to look for another hotel at the last minute, which caused major inconvenience for me and my family. What made the situation especially frustrating was that I had already been staying at this property the previous night. A confirmed reservation should mean that a guest can reasonably expect a room to be available, or at minimum receive proper assistance if the hotel cannot honor it. Very disappointing experience and handling of the situation.

The rooms were clean and nice. Originally, we were given a different room than was requested. The staff rearranged things so that we had the type of room we requested.

I REALLY wanted to love this hotel. It’s a nice hotel, it’s clean, affordable, and the location is great. We stayed for two nights. Check-in clerk was rude from the moment I greeted him. Spoke/mumbled very fast and was immediately frustrated when I asked him to repeat himself. We went on with our stay, not wanting to let it ruin the hotel experience. I checked my bank and realized $200 was on hold. I called the hotel figure out what’s going on and was told “the system has been double charging incidentals but it’ll come back in 3-5 days.” Maybe… give customers a heads up at check-in??

Staff very unprepared for checkin and checkout, and not the friendliest. Lost my reservation, after I was already checked in.

I got a glass of water front the bar in the hotel and when the ice melted there was a worm (no kidding) at the bottom of the glass. When I showed the staff, they were great and apologized profusely. They said please give us another chance and we will comp you dinner and drinks on us, which was nice but when I showed up for dinner that night the restaurant was closed Ridiculous. They comped me things fron the market but I had to take an uber and pay for dinner. Not ok. The staff means well but I’ve had other issues at this hotel

Very nice hotel. Clean and well maintained. Came to town for a Reds game and we don't like to stay downtown and this location is great.

I am writing regarding my recent stay at your hotel. I had a reservation that has already been fully paid for, but I understand that due to my earlier checkout, a refund is not being considered. Hotel didn’t refund my money and didn’t give me night when I asked. Poor hotel management who don’t care about customers.

The bistro and the Starbucks were not open on arrival or all day Saturday, which was an inconvenience. The space between floors is clearly not insulated as I could hear the people above walking which sounded like stomping and doors slamming. This occurred well after midnight and again at 4:33. Also, not having complimentary breakfast is a downfall as well. I wouldn’t stay again.
