This home can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. Relax in the huge sun-filled family room complete with comfortable seating, a smart TV with live television access, a foosball table, puzzles, and games for all ages. Off of the family room is the fully stocked kitchen with EVERYTHING you need, including standard, outdoor, and kid-friendly dinnerware. The dining room features a solid maple table that can expand up to 10 feet to comfortably accommodate a group of 12. It opens to the cozy living room with wood-burning fireplace and bay window.Down the hall are three bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Each room is uniquely decorated and includes a smart TV with access to live television, a comfortable bed with premium linens, a desk, dresser, and closet.Upstairs, picture yourself relaxing in the luxurious master suite complete with a hand-carved bedframe from India, smart tv, desk, dresser, and ample closet space. The spa-like bathroom has marble floors, dual sinks, a deep jetted tub, separate shower, and water closet. Another large bedroom offers a trundle bed, walk-in closet, height adjustable desk (suitable for kids and adults), dresser, smart tv, and toys to keep your little ones entertained.Back downstairs, don’t forget about the oversized 2-car garage with workbench, overhead storage, and 220V plug for charging your electric vehicle. In addition to a high-efficiency washer and dryer and utility sink, the large laundry/mud room also offers a dog bed, food dishes, treats, toys, waste bags, and a doggy door that leads to the fully fenced backyard.This large, sunny, private, and flat backyard is the perfect place for your group to gather. The patio offers plenty of seating, a weber grill, and fire pit. Additionally outdoor games like cornhole and a slip-n-slide are available for your use. Still looking for more to do without leaving the neighborhood? A park with a great play area is located just across the street.Ready to venture out? There is easy access to the public bus system at the front of the neighborhood. Parking is available and always free. Reach the Pentagon in about 20 minutes. Prefer to drive? You can make it to the Pentagon or DC in less than 20 minutes. Additionally, a grocery store, restaurants, Starbucks, gym, dry cleaner, and much more are located just 2 minutes away!**PETS**Pets will be approved on a case-by-case basis. The basement can not be accessed from the interior of the home. We have a lovely couple that resides part time in the separated basement of this home. They frequently travel for work and reside here a few weeks in the month. They cannot enter the house you will be occupying and you cannot enter the space they live. (Baby Bjorn Travel Crib available on request for nominal fee of $35 per stay - to cover cleaning and thorough sanitation of item) Cable TV in this room.Laundry washer and dryer is located in the Master bedroom suite.The second bedroom has it's own private bath with shower, cable TV, a queen bed, and a walk-out balcony with the same beautiful views as the master bedroom. The third and forth bedrooms share a jack and jill style bathroom with shower.Each bedroom accommodates 4, with a full size bunk beds and matching twin beds. Each room has its own closet.Main/First floor:A 3 car garage, spacious kitchen with sun room, a formal dining room, sitting room, family room with Cable TV, and entertainment room directly connected to a covered patio/deck with grill and patio table + chairs. We do not have any bedrooms on the main floor & there is a flight of stairs that need to be taken in order to access the second/top floor where the bedrooms are located.There will be no hosts or others sharing the house being rented out. The basement is not a part of this house being rented out. The basement can not be accessed from the interior of the home. The house has a generator and the latest tankless heat water system, never have fear of being without electricity and always have hot water during your stay.Blender & Keurig-style coffee maker with starter pods and tea is provided for all stays. Fireplaces have all been closed for safety. A past incident left the entire house filled with smoke because the chimney damper was not opened when a fire was started. We have since closed access to the fireplaces at the property.The gardens are absolutely lovely and instagram worthy with benches and well manicured pine trees for a peaceful evening after a long day exploring the city.Animal-free zone: This house is an animal-free zone as the host’s elderly mother & caretaker are both asthmatic and highly allergic. We have found deep cleanings are still not able to fully rid the house of animal dander after an animal has stayed.
