Convenient, large and secure parking, good for walking

Quick & easy self check-in using your Confirmation email, room was a good size, very comfy bed. Quick commute to the NEC through a back walkway each morning, so this helped keep costs down not having to Park at the NEC each day. Staff very helpful.

Very nice premier inn. Stayed to see Deep Purple at the bp Pulse Live venue at the NEC. Staff there to help you check in on screens, never get their names, but dark haired lady with ponytail was very helpful to us. Restaurant wasn’t open afternoon/early evening but didn’t bother us. Walkable to the venue, but don’t try to walk all round the actual NEC like we did, it took almost an hour ! Coming back we walked through the middle, past all the goods in areas, well lit and lots walking back so felt very safe and only took about 25 mins. Hotel room nice, and bar was open when we returned and it was busy with a great vibe, full of people who had been to see Deep Purple. Had breakfast next day, all hot and being replenished regularly. A great stay

Now I understand this is a busy hotel , but rude staff terrible staff and the worst service I have had the displeasure to receive. I get it’s a budget hotel but I really am flabbergasted about now poor the service really is and no one really cares avoid

Extremely convenient for the NEC, which is a mere 5 minute walk from this Hotel, but book early or the room prices will make your eyes water, and book a table for dinner before you arrive - I didn't, and asked in the early afternoon if they could do a table for that evening and the earliest available slot was 9pm. There is no where else within reasonable walking distance to eat so its a chocolate bar out the vending machine or crisps unless you've brought your own snacks or want a drive out somewhere. I consoled myself with a £6.85 pint at the bar. Also no towels in the room so check before you get in the bath! Although towels were provided when asked. Otherwise pretty standard room for a Premier Inn and a good nights sleep - albeit I could have chewed my own arm off at one point just for some sustenance. But that's my fault. Staff were rushed off their feet and did their best. Always friendly and genuinely did their best. I guess its the sort of place that's either full or empty depending on whether an event is on so I have some sympathy with them. Would stay again for the convenient location but would take a pot noodle and eat in the room ... 3/5 might seem harsh but they should be geared up to 'cater' (literally) for more guests. But location is 5/5.
