Aggershøj Pensionat

We arrived on Friday afternoon and were received by Line and Carsten, who showed their best sides. At five o'clock with gin and tonic followed by Tapas in the evening. Very nice rooms and fantastic breakfast. good value for money. BR Hans and Birgit

Hosts Line and Carsten have brought the hotel to life with their sympathetic style and attention to detail. They have managed to blend simple form and function with the rich history of the building. You walk in the door and immediately feel at home.

Wonderful place to stay if you visit the beautiful and relaxed island of Æro. Such an amazing decoration, relaxing atmosphere, and the best breakfast. The owner and hostess is extremely kind, collaborative and helpful, about the places to go and where to eat. A must if in Denmark

We had wonderful three days with the fantastisk hosts Line und Carsten. The house is a dream. Line styled everything with lots of creativity, super taste and a lot of love for details to something special. Inside or outside in the huge stunning garden, everybody will fin it’s favourite spot to relax. This for it is no problem at all that the sleeping rooms are rather small. Nothing is missing, you will find super nice beds, cosy sheets, sufficient storage room and a nice corner with a sink including luxurious soap products. Close to the rooms there even is a nice Kitchen, where guests can prepare tea or coffee etc. In the beginning we wondered a little bit, that there is not a separate toilet and shower for each room. But the bathrooms located at the hallway were so nicely decorated and spotless clean at any time that we were most happy to share them with the other guests. Special luck was that we got to be there on the last day the tiny garden cafe opened it‘s doors, where we spent a lovely afternoon. We strongly recommend Aggershøj to everybody. What else can we say as „Thank you Line and Carsten. We will miss you and your lovely breakfast“ we just have to come again 😊😊😊

From the moment we arrived at Pensionat Aggershøj, nestled on the charming island of Ærø, we were enveloped in an atmosphere brimming with authenticity and originality. The hosts at Aggershøj are truly the heart and soul of the place, offering warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests transform a simple stay into a memorable experience. They are knowledgeable about Ærø, eager to share its stories and hidden gems, making our stay not just a visit but an immersion into the local culture. We will come back!

A close friend and I stayed at Aggershøj for one night. It was such a unique and wonderful place for a retreat. Bedrooms are best designed for couples but it worked out OK. However all the other rooms for hanging out were so beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and we felt so well treated by the hosts. Also the wonderful garden is worth mentioning for relaxation and hanging out. Just go and stay there.
