Hotel in zona , Marsiglia

Stayed in this hotel in June 22. Have to admit that my first impression was student halls but we adapted well. The apartment was small but very clean. We had one bedroom but only big enough to house twin beds and a bedside table and a lamp. The beds were very comfortable. There was a separate toilet and a small bathroom with a over bath shower. I first thought that the bath was not clean but it was just here the enamel had worn away. There was a small kitchenette with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. We didn’t use it except for tea and coffee as we had B&B which was good the lady in the dining room was very friendly and was happy to help. We ate out for dinner. There is a table and chairs and a sofa bed in the living area plus a tv. The balcony was big and facing the sea which was nice with lovely views over the bay. There were patio table and chairs. If you are staying less than 8 days you won’t get room service but will provide it at an extra cost. There is a free safe deposit in all rooms. I think this is because of covid. There is free WiFi and a safety deposit box. There is no hairdryer in the rooms but you can get one from reception at no cost if you ask. Reception were ok but didn’t speak much English but we were in France after all so got by. The pool is small but nice the only thing is that there is no seating around the pool. Most people were just sitting on the decking on towels. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing is that it was not Sandy but stony and gritty not good for making sand castles. There are no sun beds or parasols to hire, and very little shade. There is a Sandy beach further down the bay about 10 mins walk. There are restaurants close by but also more on the Sandy beach which is lovely. Also a good supermarket near too. You can get a bus into the city on the road next to the hotel the No 83 is €2 per person each way along the coast to the marina. I have to say that the external walls of the hotel need to be tidied up they look very tired. A lick of paint is needed badly, and maybe the rooms brought up to date a little. Maybe the hotel group could invest some funds into doing this. All in all we had a good stay but it could have been better. Thank you to all staff the made our stay comfortable.

Hanno chiesto un deposito di 100 euro e non me lo aspettavo. Avevano asciugamani, gel doccia e accessori da cucina.

Resta qui per la Coppa del Mondo di Rugby la settimana scorsa e si è deluso per il prezzo. Stavo 4 giorni e il primo giorno ha riportato che una cortina era mancante dalla mia stanza, il che significa che non solo nessuno poteva passare attraverso la mia stanza, ma le luci dallo stadio e dal ristorante al contrario stava sbattere direttamente nel mio letto, portando a zero. Questo non è stato risolto fino al giorno 3. Anche il cubico di doccia è stato scaricato ovunque, il pavimento era pericolosamente slipperato e doveva essere aderito con i tovaglioli prima di prendere una doccia. Il colazione non ha servito per gusti internazionali come fanno le altre catene, era puramente francese e non era etichettato, quindi non era sicuro se scegliessi yogurt, formaggio morbido o crema. Il personale è molto amichevole, soprattutto il personale del bar.

vantaggio: In una piccola zona commerciale, vicino alla metropolitana, c'è una caffetteria intorno dove puoi fare colazione. Altri hotel sono più economici. C'è un parcheggio più sicuro dall'altra parte della strada, ma costerà dieci euro a notte. Non è nel centro della città, quindi è facile da guidare Il prezzo non è troppo caro. discordanza: La stanza è piccola ed è difficile camminare in valigia. Gli asciugamani sono sporchi. Non c'è servizio (perché è una grande catena di negozi, non vende servizio, tranne che per la reception al momento del check-in, dove non c'è personale) Ma questo è comprensibile. Niu ha visto questo grado e il prezzo è economico qui.

Great hotel! Room and bathroom was specious. Coffee and bathroom supplies which is a bonus. We also had a terrace. Quiet area. Had a very good sleep. Bed was comfortable. Very happy overall! Thank you

We booked this mainly for the location near the stadium for the rugby world cup match and arrived by private car. One clinching factor whilst booking was the availability of carparking - this was stated on the booking voucher as 'Indoor car parking - allocated on arrival', quite a necessity given Marseille's reputation. On arrival we found that the car parking no longer existed, a fact we had not been made aware of. We were forced to either park on the street or use the local city car park at €30 per day - not a small charge! The receptionist was completely unsympathetic The literature in the room mentioned the hotel carparking facilities at €15/day and one door in reception was even marked 'Park Garage'. The breakfast was distinctly average, with much of the offerings having run-out by the time we got to breakfast - not late. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. The location was good but the whole experience was decidely average-to-low.

L'hotel era tranquillo (a condizione che la finestra si chiude bene ...), ma le tende oscure erano vecchie e guardate attraverso. Non c'è modo di ottenere un drink benvenuto per i due occupanti della stanza, e non c'è un regalo come vantaggio. Inoltre, è l'unico hotel della città che non partecipa al colazione gratuito al beneficio del fine settimana. Prendetelo in considerazione. Non è annunciato da nessuna parte e ci è stato detto che dovevamo controllarlo per noi stessi sul sito web di Accor. L'hotel ha molti vantaggi utilizzando il nome Mercure e attira membri di status, ma non prendono questa responsabilità seriamente e danno i vantaggi che giungono. Il cliente non è in grado di negoziare i vantaggi che desiderano, quindi perché è così facile per un hotel scegliere?

I found staff really helpful. They changed my room for me so I could get a terrace and sea view and I really appreciated this. The hotel has an airy light Califonia feel and is well situated up the Corniche. The hotel can be reached very easily by a bus (no 83) from the port of Marseille and runs up and down so frequently, you'll never be waiting long and there is a stop right infront of the hotel. It's a very easy journey, and very beautiful too along the coastline, and I'd say it took about 10 -12 minutes. In fact, I left someting in my safe and had to contact the hotel and go straight back on the bus from Marseille centre and it was not too much stress, again staff very helpful. The bay it's in is lovely and its really charming walking along the coast of the Corniche. The hotel benefits from being close enough to the centre of Marseille with regular transport and just enough away from the bustle of the port for a more tranquil experience and to enjoy the stunning coastline and the surrounding bays and beaches. The bus route and the hotel itself provides great views of Chateau d’If. Peacful at night, I enjoyed sitting on my terrace with a drink watching the view well into the night. I was travelling alone and I never felt unsafe at all in Marseille, in fact, I'd love to go back.

La posizione è buona, in una zona molto sicura in Marseille, il trasporto pubblico è conveniente, il trasporto pubblico è più di venti minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria, non è lontano dal vecchio porto o da altri punti di attrazione della metropolitana di autobus. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è alto, la stanza è normale e ci sono piccole cucine.Anche se non è utile, gli utensili di cucina guardano tutti e non c'è problema fare una cena semplice. Non mangiava colazione in hotel, c'era una sala da pane per il caffè di pane fresco.

Hotel molto ben situato proprio accanto alla uscita di metro Perrier e a 10 minuti a piedi dallo stadio Orange Vélodrome. Diversi ristoranti sono in vicinanza. L’accoglienza è stata perfetta, l’hotel è pulito e tranquillo. Torneremo a Marsiglia nel prossimo weekend o in gioco.
