Un'esperienza meravigliosa come riad e il migliore dei 4 riad in cui siamo stati in Marocco per un periodo di 2 settimane. Il team che gestisce il posto è fantastico, le camere confortevoli e l'atmosfera semplicemente stupenda. Avremmo preferito più varietà a colazione, il sovraccarico di pane/prodotti da forno stanca un po'. Le uova sarebbero carine. Per il resto, assolutamente consigliato. Chi non ha mai soggiornato in un riad e ha letto la classificazione in stelle, sappi che si tratta di un livello di comfort diverso rispetto alle pensioni tradizionali. Non aspettatevi il lusso, ma comfort, pulizia e fascino ci sono sicuramente.

Ottima posizione a circa 15 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale Jamaa El fin. La colazione è buona anche se la stessa tutti i giorni, ma ci sono molti altri bar nelle vicinanze se hai voglia di cambiare per un giorno o due. Era pulito e il personale era molto gentile. Consiglio vivamente di prendere un taxi (costa non più di 15 dirham con il tassametro) per Gulez, dove ci sono molti bar davvero carini. Il Riad è a pochi minuti da Rue Kasbah, piena di negozi e posti dove prendere un panino/wrap/kebab veloce al ritorno da una giornata fuori. La maggior parte dei luoghi, comprese le tombe e i palazzi, sono raggiungibili a piedi e il tempo è stato molto bello quando sono andato a novembre. C'è una piccola piscina che sembrava un po' vecchia ma nessuno l'ha usata mentre ero lì. L'ultimo piano è incantevole ed è esattamente il posto dove ho scelto di fare colazione ogni giorno. Il personale era molto gentile. Era molto tranquillo e pulito. La mia unica piccola lamentela è che il wifi potrebbe essere piuttosto lento a volte e necessita di qualche miglioramento. Inoltre ho pagato la tassa di 21 euro all'arrivo ma hanno perso i documenti e hanno cercato di farmi pagare di nuovo alla cassa, ho passato anni a cercare la prova che avevo pagato sull'app della mia banca quindi assicurati di conservare la ricevuta!

The hotel cancelled our booking 5 days before arrival with no explanation. Do not book with this hotel unless you want to risk being disappointed and left scrambling around to find an alternative hotel. I will never book this hotel again

what a fantastic RIAD , excellent location not too far from the busy part. rooftop terrace. staff were amazing. couldnt do enough for you and all food cooked fresh to order. the coldest beer I had in Marrakech. very clean. and comfortable beds.

My first trip to Marrakesh. I bought it via Love Holidays, half boarded with a breakfast and dinner included in the price. I am 41 female, travelling solo over 20 years and honestly I have never been to such a horrible hotel. I have arrived on the 21st of December. I got up to Riad slightly after 9 pm. When I asked is it possible to have a late dinner. I was told that kitchen was open until 9pm and that is closed now. I have not been offered even a bottle of water to drink. I was only told that the breakfast is serve every day between 9 and 11. And got keys to a room. Room 5 i stayed over 5 days was cold and dark. Very noisy. My door was unable to lock properly. While was a locker on it, you were still able to open it up. I asked a member of the staff is he is taking responsibilities in case if anything is missing???So promised me to fix it. Luckily, they did it next day. On my second day, after arrival to the hotel around 5/6 pm when I asked for a dinner I was told that I can order now. I did order it and waited 45 minutes at the table to find out the kitchen is still close and it will be served the earliest at 7 pm. Extra charge for a meat! On the 23rd I was asked to fix my bill (all out of the blue) for extras such as wine and shisha. On the receipt was no shisha (cash only for shisha, no receipt) and was told to pay 150 dirham for a each shisha plus a dinner costs!!!!The dinner costs had appeared on my bill while being half boarded and the dinner was included in the price! I did not even heard apologies for a mistake. 24th of December. The staff in the kitchen was not feeling well. Only some quests were lucky to order a meal, when I came downstairs for a dinner. Was told that that I should have ordered earlier due to to staff sickness but nobody told me to do so!!!! Was offered packet of crisps instead. That was my Christmas Day. I celebrate it on the 24th of December. On my last day before leaving Morocco I was first kindly offered a different room to stay in by Mohamed, due to a late flight . My cab was scheduled at 6 pm When I arrived to Riad around 3:20 pm I was told by Abdul to leave a room as soon as possible as there are quests waiting for the room already. I spent 2 and half an hour outside the room and no-one has arrived. As much as I am aware of the policy of check out, it is unacceptable to be told to stay in the room by one member of the staff and be kicked out by the other staff straight after entering Riad. Safety- room I was moved to again, was unsafe and you could have easily open it up while the locker was on it. Locked. Just by pulling gently. Also. I day I have accidently entered the room 4, next to mine by mistake as rooms don't have numbers on the door and look very much identical. When I informed a member of the staff he said that he did not realized and that was it! En effet petit Riad de 3*, c’est joli mais de plus près ça s’arrête là! Nous étions 3 personnes en simple en suite , il n’y eu qu’une personne dont la chambre représentait une suite qui était était charmante, mais pour les 2 autres catastrophe, très sombre, encombrée (je me suis cogné tous les jours aux meubles tellement c’était coincé! Pour entrer dans la chambre c’était disons compliqué et bruyant à débarrer (cadena) et tirer le locquet (d’ailleurs je me le suis fait remarquer pour le bruit par le co-gestionnaire des lieux). Je n’avais par de serviette pour la douche ni de verre! 2/5 Petit déjeuner simple mais bon sauf le café, il est composé de différentes crêpes marocaines, confitures et de jus fraîchement pressé, il était servi sur la terrasse du 3e étage, par contre à 10 Celsius c’était désagréable, la dame qui le préparait était plus préoccupée par son portable que de le préparer en avance pour 8h… service à 8h20! 2.5/5 Accès au Riad en voiture impossible car il est situé dans une impasse, il fallait marcher un bon bout pour se rendre à un taxi… très déplaisant quand on a des bagages! Côté positif, il se retrouve à l’ intérieur de la Kashba ce qui fait qu’on réside avec la population locale! C’est compliqué pour les arrivées et départs en taxi! 2/5 Le +++ c’est Si Mo (Simon), quelle gentillesse , toujours prêt à nous aider et à faire l’impossible pour nous aider et toujours avec son immense sourire! Je dois avouer que ce n’est pas le cas de son co-équipier (0/5) dont on ne connaît pas le nom, assez déplaisant et non fiable, faisant semblant de ne pas comprendre quel contraste avec Si Mo! 4/5 Pour notre part nous n’ irons plus, par contre ça pourrait plaire à une certaine clientèle!
