Riad la Porte Rouge

They dont show you the building and the end of the stay they charge you a “tax” without notify you before

Marvelous in all ways, especially decorative room. Everything was like fine arts for my eyes. Staffs are friendly enough for the person like me who travels alone. I wanna stay here with my family next time.

本次出行住的第一家利亞德，他在麥迪娜城外一個小巷子，但也是老城區了，快到路上的時候我都慌了，路上環境不太好，進去後才長舒一口氣，哈哈，整體裏面都挺好，服務熱情，早餐也挺好；距離麥迪娜也近，但是天黑千萬不要走小路；

Riad mal conservado, extremamente sujo, cheiro ruim no quarto, toalhas de banho fedidas e extremamente gastas, roupas de cama surradas. Localizaçao péssima

This place is over priced, there are similar hotels (riads) at 1/3 price in the area. The service is very basic. Breakfast is poor (there is no egg, cheese, olives nor any meat products).

Upon arrival the riad was disappointing. Cat was lounging in the waiting area on couch. I insisted on another room because the first was very inhospitable "cold &damp". I ask for another room and was granted a room up two flights of stairs. The second room was warmer but very little. For the price that each night cost I felt it was not worth a third of what was charged. I have no complaint about the food or dinners prepared, but helper name Mustafa was a very shady character. He talked about discounts on drinks and dinner but when I had paid for dinner for three nights at the beginning of my stay I was led to believe that all charges had been paid. But on the last night I was told I owed another 100 or more dollars by being charged for seltzer water which I was offered. He never said anthing about what it cost at the time I said I would have some with my dinner. The next night he just brought it to the table. Our Moroccan guide said Riad Le Porte Rogue was not worth the price that it charged and he wouldn't advise anyone to stay at it for 109 dollars a night and I agreed after staying there. After I question Mr. Mustafa about the charges he got very angry that night and the next morning he would not speak to us. He was very unprofessional and was not an accomodating person. I would not advise anyone to stay there and I know there are better and more pleasing Riads in Morocco.I will never spend money on this type of Riad again. IT WAS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. ********** DO BETTER

Excellent management and staff. The Riad feels like a small comfortable home on the outskirts of the medina with great chefs!

My brother and me were amazed by that cute riad! Our time there was simply perfect! The people working there are full of kindness! They'll help you with everything (transfer, sightseeing, tours, questions etc.)! The food is delicious and soo yummy. We are so happy and totally recommend the "riad la porte rouge" for everyone. You won't regret it.
