Sunset Boutique Hotel Marmaris

Excellent small hotel with around 10 rooms. It is tucked away in an elevated position behind the waterside restaurants. To get there look for the sunset sign between 2 restaurants and walk up the stairs. We had room 203 which was enormous, had a balcony with a sea view but a strangely small bathroom. Still functional just not a lot of room. There is a mini bar and a room safe and complimentary water and tea/coffee. There is a rooftop bar which has stunning views of the harbour and we spent each night here before meandering down to the restaurants for dinner. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with a variety of things to eat and eggs done how you like them. Staff were efficient and mostly friendly. We found Marmaris to be a bit of a party town so it was nice to get away from all of that and find some peace at the sunset. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved this place . Will be back for sure. Can't do enough for you . Food lovely . Breakfast and bar staff exceptional . Spa great choice of treatments. Had mud bath. Turkish bath. Massage and facial .all excellent.

View from room is superb, location is also best. Room size is very good. Washroom is very small and inconvenient. I haven't seen such small Washroom in my stay in last 20 countries I visited so far. Poor service. Breakfast time starts at 8am, but even at 8:30 we are still waiting. No much option in Breakfast, very disappointing.

Sunset Hotel Marmaris is a lovely boutique hotel ideally located in the centre of Marmaris in the heart of the historical Kaleiçi district. You are right in the port, surrounded by restaurants and a stone's throw from the bazaar for shopping. We selected the Superior Double with Balcony, the most significant room, to ensure we could enjoy the balcony, which gives you great views of the harbour and beautiful hills. The place is spotlessly clean; the only issue would be based on the price point. It's time to retire the grandmother style bedding; this would take this to five-star immediately with new crisp fresh white bed linen. Some creative photography made the relatively tiny bathroom look more significant than reality, but stylish, modern, and hot water was aplenty. You could easily sit outside and watch the sunset and the boats bob in the water as the lights dance over the sea. We did have breakfast included, but unfortunately, we didn't eat breakfast simply because Turkish breakfast tends to be too filling for us digital nomads. The hotel has strong wifi throughout, and the rooftop bar and restaurant host amazing views of the harbour and a friendly little bird. We found the location perfect; you could easily explore all the dining and bar scenes, as everything was on your doorstep. Marmaris is a very popular tourist hotspot, being a port city and a high number of all-inclusive resorts. To obtain the authentic nature of Marmaris and shelter ourselves from the hectic tourism, we loved Dede Restaurant for dining and Alice for cocktails. The family who runs the hotel are lovely and friendly, very accommodating and will make sure your stay is as you expect.

Easy to find hotel ( just ask the restaurants). Check in was smooth and we were taken to our 1st floor.room with balcony. Amazing views. Up to the bar for a few beers, again to soak up the view. Breakfast was great which we sadly only enjoyed twice out of seven days due to over sleeping in our large room. Good location in the marina and a 20 min walk to the rhodes ferry. Recommend

A beautiful gem in the heart of the downtown area, amazing views of the Bay and a roof top restaurant with some of the best views in Marmaris. Nadra and Ferat made us very welcome, organising early breakfasts for us, even as the sun was only just coming up. We stayed twice and the first time left without paying, Nadra and Ferat did not say a word and only laughed. Marmaris can be noisy and a little overwhelming at times. This hotel offered an oasis of peace and relaxation. Thank you
