Club Viva Hotel

Lovely clean and friendly hotel. The staff are lovely. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and fresh omelettes and pancakes made to order by the chef. I travelled solo and felt safe there. No hassle except for Brad Pitt, as he calls himself. He tries to sell you a Turkish bath and is a bit pushy. Handy for shops, bars and restaurants and not too far from the beach. I would definitely stay again.

Having travelled extensively since Covid-19 throughout both the Mediterranean and Caribbean, I rate hotels based not only on stars…(as I feel those create expectation), but also on helpfulness of staff, atmosphere and value for money, as I believe those are the things that actually matter on a day to day basis during your holiday. At Club Viva I cannot see how anyone could fault any of those areas. The staff are extremely friendly, they don’t look overworked and undervalued, which I have seen in lots of ‘highly starred’ hotels. I believe this lends itself to a happy atmosphere. Particular mention to those that made our own stay wonderful are; Ramalen, Sergio and also Emrah…..aka Jack, who works very hard making sure all the guests are happy, organising pool games and running entertainment. Additionally, management appear to lead from the front rather than sitting away in an office as they were there clearing plates & wiping seats which you don’t often see. Special mention should also go out here to the cleaners as this hotel is very clean. They also smile and speak to you and are happy to try and fulfil any request you have. Overall this hotel is 100% great value for money with superb friendly staff. It’s clean, amenities are good, entertainment is good & food is decent, particularly the fresh cook omelette station so I cannot rate it highly enough. I would definitely recommend. If I was to make suggestions to the hotel it would be a wider choice of food (eggs and pancakes every day not on alternate days) and the option of half board i’e an evening meal as well as breakfast would be good.

So I looked at some of the previous reviews before booking and thought I would give this place a shot £200 flights,transfers + B&B for 3 nights . It couldn’t be that bad? Well- The hotel itself is on a busy road so be prepared for traffic noise day and night. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower did block and flood the bathroom on one occasion. Tv and safety deposit boxes you have to pay for. The balcony looked on to the busy road so not the greatest view. Also had mine and next doors air conditioning units on my balcony which made it very noisy. Other reviews have mentioned the mosque which I found quite calming and a lot quieter than the road and aircon units. I went to the pool which is ok and there is a slide for the kids. They accept card payments for food and drink which was ideal. No sooner had I sat down with my beer than the famous “Brad Pitt” arrived to discuss massages packages . He’s a lovely guy but very pushy .. I bought a package. Have to say it was amazing! The lady doing the massage was very good Overall for a £200 holiday.. it’s not bad value, just don’t come and expect luxury

This is a difficult one to review. Many pluses but also some not so good. On arrival allocated a dated room with no balcony. Got moved no problem to another room still dated but with a nice balcony. Beautiful large clean pool, hard to get a sun lounger due to the towel brigade up at 6 laying out their towels. Cleaners worked hard, comfy clean bed and fresh towels. Breakfast cheap poor quality with no variation. Location good. Staff not particularly friendly apart from a couple. Brad Pitt, friendly and good spa. Reasonable value for money but some rooms need updated badly. Would I return? Only if there was a good deal. Overall just above average, room for improvement. A 4 star it is not

What a hidden Gem this place was Staff great Breakfast okayish depends what you like Cleaners always happy to help me out I am disabled person was amazed at the ease of access to areas Place is located in great place Will be booking for next year Thank you

Just leaving after a lively relaxing holiday. Staff are very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are nice and clean and the cleaners always greeted us with a smile. Clean towels when we wanted them. Breakfast is buffet style but plentiful. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings as spent time wandering around Marmaris shopping. Brad Pitt is they guy to talk to about a Turkish massage. We had the full package and felt very relaxed after. A boat trip is a must, again plenty to choose from. Don't pay more than £20 per person. We chose to go to Quum Beach for our beach days lazing on a cabana. Fantastic place, great food, drinks and staff. All in all we have had a lovely holiday.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Club Viva booked a last minute deal and literally had the best time . Location perfect just close enough to the bars without too much noise ,breakfast lovely and pool area with slide was fab kids spent many a hour on the slide .. we had a family room and was perfect for us The only fault I could pick is the maid service is very hit and miss and our bathroom wasn't wiped round once during the week 🙃. Big shout out to Alex the food and drinks manager nothing was to much trouble and helped us book an amazing boat trip at an excellent price and free transfers to Icmeler port we found this boat much more chilled than some we saw in Marmaris , highly recommend the bbq in the hotel on a Saturday food lovely and plentiful great value for money ,the Turkish massage is amazing and Brad Pitt does some amazing deals too and last but not least Jack love his bingo games and remembered everyone's names. Will definitely be back x

Just got back from an 11 night stay. If all you are looking for is a room and a pool then this hotel suits you, but anything else and it starts to go downhill. The rooms and appearance is good, wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star however. Air conditioning is good but when you leave your room it will go off when you take your room card out. The breakfast is very poor. Very strange choices. Spring rolls, potato wedges, peppers. Alternate between pancakes and omelettes each day, they could easily cater for both in my opinion. My kids had nothing to eat when it was omelette morning. There’s one 2 slice toaster between everyone. Again a toaster costs nothing as they could make this easier for guests by having more. The hotel manager… storms around telling people they can’t bring their own food to the pool, there’s notices everywhere about this. It’s all well and good but the bar prices are a joke. They want you to spend money at the bar. It’s honestly ridiculously priced. I’d recommend just going over the road and eating/drinking in your room. A can of coke is 80L which costs 30L across the road at the shop. No lifeguards at the pool. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at with no lifeguard. In terms of entertainment there’s bingo during the day around the pool. What I found annoying is that it was 200L a ticket but only 1000L for the winner. Even though there was 10+ people playing it. So again the hotel wanting to pocket that extra money instead of splitting the pot. I felt that the hotel is all about making as much money from guests as possible and nothing into customer satisfaction. From the start on arriving a guy will take your bags to your room and hangs around in the room until you give him a tip. I gave him a tip and as soon as I did he vanished. The hotel is surrounded by lots of cheap supermarkets such as migros, bim and Sok. Plenty of lively bars and clothes shops. The beach is about a 20 minute walk. I personally would not return to this hotel.

Club Viva, what can I say, We arrived and I was a little disappointed as we had a double and a single but we expected a triple with a balcony, I went to reception and they apologised and said we could moved, showed me a room and asked if this one was suitable, it was perfect, no hassle or making me feel like a nuisance. Breakfast is geared to lots of nationalities and the omlettes cooked to order or freshly cooked American pancakes were delicious. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I'm very fussy about cleanliness and it was lovely and clean, all of the time. Orhan in the Spa was amazing, I can move my shoulders again, thank you so much. Prices this year were high buy due to the huge drop in the lira and a massive hike in the inflation rates. I always asked for a menu with prices on as I was on a budget and they happily gave me some. Prices are written on at the start of the season and wear off Thank you everyone at Club Viva especially the staff in the spa , my girls and I felt so relaxed, they made us all feel special and they are so passionate, especially " Brad Pitt " The medical massages I had off Orhan has released my painful shoulders and given me so much movement back, I can't thank him enough. I didn't realise how bad they were until he fixed them. I am so happy.
