Club Amaris Apartment

Lovely, clean friendly hotel. Short walk to the beach. Food was lovely. Got no hassle just friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned every day. Pool area was spotless. Bar and food prices were good as well. This was our first stay and for what we paid we will be back again. Highly recommend these apartments.

I booked a family holiday through EasyJet Holidays to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday. We selected Club Amaris in Dalaman based on the high ratings and clear information that Wi-Fi and air conditioning were included in the package. However, what followed was one of the most distressing and traumatic travel experiences we’ve ever had. Upon arrival after more than 12 hours of travel, we were ignored and spoken to rudely by the night receptionist (named Hüsnü). While we later observed him warmly greeting and helping other guests with luggage, we were met with abrupt questioning and discriminatory comments about our nationality. We were then told we had to pay for Wi-Fi and AC – something that was never mentioned on the EasyJet Holidays site. When we politely questioned this, the receptionist became verbally abusive, telling us to leave the hotel if we didn’t want to pay. His tone was threatening and aggressive – especially upsetting as we were a tired family including women and someone with a serious medical condition. The next morning, things escalated further. When we requested toilet paper (as barely any was provided in our room), we were again met with rudeness and refusal. Eventually, this same staff member followed us, banged violently on our hotel door, and shouted abuse. He even invaded personal space and made physical contact in an intimidating way. It left us genuinely afraid and unsafe. Throughout the stay, this receptionist continued to harass and intimidate us, muttering abusive language in Turkish whenever we passed by. The situation caused severe emotional distress and ruined what was meant to be a happy celebration. We trusted EasyJet Holidays, but this experience left us feeling completely betrayed. It has had lasting effects on our mental health and we would strongly urge others to avoid this hotel. No family should ever be treated the way we were – especially not while on holiday.

Just back from a week away. The hotel is exactly what you pay for. The room was a little dated however you have what you need and most important it was clean, housekeeping did a great job every day. The air con is fine for the bed room however not ideal when you have people sleeping in the living area. The walls are paper thin and we were disturbed by noisy neighbours a couple of times. The bar staff work incredibly hard and are there morning noon and night every day. They are friendly, chatty and accommodating. The hotel is only 10/15 mins walk from the beach and main area so great for location, there's a mini supermarket at the end of the road and 'asda' a few minutes walk away. The food at the hotel was nice, no complaints and the effes was always cold. If you are used to bigger complexes and entertainment this is not the place for you, however if quiet and relaxing is your aim this is ideal. Sun loungers do get taken quite early, i was up for 7am a few mornings, the pool side isn't the biggest but the staff will try and squeeze you in somewhere if they can. We enjoyed our holiday but possibly won't return to club amaris as we enjoy entertainment and shows. Not related to club amaris however important to note, we found prices to have skyrocketed more than what you would expect inflation to be, look for deals, vary where you eat and drink.
