I really wanted to give the hotel a better rating but there's so many aspects of it where they've looked to penny pinch to make the place a mediocre hotel / experience. Admittedly, we were comparing this to the service we got at a similarly priced hotel in Antalya (Royal Garden Beach Hotel) where we went last year. Firstly the positives: - the entertainment here for kids is fantastic. There's a nightly mini disco, which all family resorts actually offer, but the thing we didn't get last time was other nightly entertainment with there being a show every night. This included magic show, Columbian acrobatics, Turkish belly dancing, Mongolian acrobatics. All the shows were fantastic. There were also good day time activities for our daughter (3 yrs old) which included pizza and cookie making. - There were decent themed evenings - turkish night, tapas, wine and cheese which made things a little different. I thought the quality and choice of food was best during Turkish night, Now the negatives, all of which make you come away from the holiday thinking you could have really made this hotel feel like a luxury / quality experience. - You have to pay to use the safe in the room. I have travelled to dozens of countries and countless hotels and this was the first time I'd ever been asked to pay for the safe at a cost of £15 for the week. Honestly, I thought this was pathetic, and just detracted from the impression of the hotel. - The hotel felt like a club 18-30 holiday for families. We unfortunately had another guest, we don't know who ring our room four times during the stay and put the phone down straight away, waking our young kids up. When I went to complain to Ali at the front desk to tell him what I thought was happening his response was "Ye, probably". What kind of response is that from the front desk, the impression it gave just said it all for the hotel. It also showed that this was a regular occurrence which the assistant manager confirmed when I complained. - This hotel is connected to it's sister hotel, the two are joined together, but you can't use your all inclusive at the sister hotel and have to pay for drinks. The only sports shown on TV are at the sister holiday so you'll need to pay for drinks if you want to watch. Again penny pinching which really degraded the impression of the hotel. - Some of the staff are really friendly but many of them looked miserable and clearly didn't enjoy their jobs. This meant they didn't really help you particularly at the front desk and restaurant and detracted from the atmosphere. That said the guy making the omelettes at the outside station is one of the friendliest guys I've met. - Wifi is terrible in the rooms, they do offer wifi boxes which you have to pay for. - Only one key card is provided, if you want a second you'll have to pay for it (£5). In Antalya we got two which seems logical for a family of four. - They don't provide beach towels and don't allow you to take ro
